I practically live here when I'm holidaying in Edinburgh. The food is fantastic and the staff are always great. It's on the old town high street but tucked away so it's not packed all the time.
The scones are fantastic. Good coffee/tea. I hear the manager, Mike, is pretty cool. He is. Super chill environment. Great for small groups and solo work. It's downstairs from the entry level so don't miss it!
Delicious pancakes. Speedy friendly service. They let me sample the curry as well. It was wonderful! Cozy atmosphere, with special, fun, seating for families with children. Definitely worth going down Chamber's Close off High Street. Very walkable.
A hidden little gem just off the Royal Mile , simple food done well, lovely breakfast, so very reasonable, really pleasant staff, comfortable surrounding, deserve to be supported
What an excellent find! The food was fantastic, the coffee was superb and above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. We will definitely visit again before we leave Edinburgh.
The maple syrup and bacon pancakes are the best I've ever had.
