Exceptional food for a really, really good price! My family have been coming here for years and the owner and staff now know us by name and treat us, as they do with everyone, with the utmost of respect, fondness and friendliness. It is the quintessential pub experience here in Coleford. Highly recommended!! I also highly recommend the mixed grill. It's a mountain of high quality food for a ridiculously low price. Can't go wrong
The food wasn't great, vegetables were overcooked and the roast potatoes hard. Having said that it wasn't expensive so make your own mind up. For me though overcooked vegetables is a big no-no as it isn't difficult to do.
Had a decent pint of real ale Tribute, St Austell Brewery and was able to watch some World Cup football. On Monday there is no food available but the prices are reasonable so will return.
Lovely pub and highly recommend the gamekeepers pie but you'll need to walk it off afterwards. Staff and patrons were very friendly

Excellent! Visiting from the Wirral UK and Sydney Australia....our in laws felt quite at home with a juicy Kangaroo steak, whilst I could highly recommended the Fire Dragon chicken curry! Well recommended by our hosts. Thankyou! Mrs Blakemore
Stopped off with my partner , daughter and boyfriend whilst on a break visiting the Wye valley. Very pleasant experience. Pub is clean and well kept, food was decent and the landlord was friendly and welcoming. No problems recommending. Great for families.
First time back to the ’Keepers today for a spot of Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint - a great selection of dishes and puddings at a great price for 2 courses approx £7 per person. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious, and the service was quick and efficient. Definitely a worthwhile experience!
Old fashioned pub! Easy to find, near to Lower Lane. Small car park behind the pub. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
