I don't mind GAME however a lot of what they sell can be found cheaper online or even across the road in CEX. They sell quite a lot of pre owned games more expensive than other places I've found too. Barring that the staff in there are always friendly and I've never had any problems with any purchases here.

It's an ok place, full of games and bargains to find. Staff are awesome as ever and helpful.

Do not buy used games in store on the 3 for 2 deal if one of the games is fualty (crashes when you put the game in the console) and they said they had no replacements and to get a refund they want the other two games that aren't fualty or to go to another store were they have another copy they don't tell you however if that copy gets sold by the time you get there you are out of luck. Basically stole my money go to CEX if you want to buy used they will always refund you.

So I came over from Germany and I popped into game. Once I put my credit card in the machine, it asked for a signature. The manager said that it would not be accepted even though they took my money. She claimed my money was in limbo and if they didn't return the money, I am expected to chase the bank to get it back. It was absolutely ridiculous. As someone who has worked at game before at Christmas time, I know that you are expected to make stuff up if you do not know what you are talking about. The lady that took my payment was very apologetic and friendly and she is the sole reason it is 2 star rating not a one star rating, but the manager was arrogant and rude, trying to twist it round that it is my fault. Of the 20 plus shops I have used in England and signed my German credit card, this is the only one that had this problem. These sort of problems, coupled with the manager openly discussing exactly what she thought of the upcoming software changes being implemented by Game being such a "pain in the arse", makes me not only want to never step foot in this Game again, but to ever go to Game again. In this day and age, especially with online shopping and better prices, it is no wonder Game is losing stores left right and centre.
