I come here for poker tournaments sometimes. The poker room is tiny, but there aren’t many options in Glasgow right now just this spot and Alea. The tournaments are £35 or £45 usually, and just two or three tables of people. The cash games are really aggressive and more gambling than poker… I don’t really play them for that reason. But could be fun if you’ve got the money for it and enjoy that style of play. Farhad is a star. He’s works in the poker room as a dealer for the cash games or just helping with the tournaments, but really he’s always helping everywhere. The drink service here is awful and most of the players are old and always moaning for a coffee or whatever. Farhad will even go to the bar with drink orders for them. He just always goes above and beyond. The food here is definitely better than at Alea. It’s a little overpriced, but the veggie burger is delicious. The curries are pretty good. Chips are great.
Had really good reception from them so far coz I'm a new member? Hope that's not it, I don't think so but as they are kind and accomodating, friendly and helpful, especially for someone new to casino establishments, great time, 24 HR bar, many thing to do, amazing time, I love to show people the place and they all love it, all staff are happy and helpful make you feel a part of it, thanks
Nice modern building with a good atmosphere. Bar is nice however quite a long wait to be served and the bartender was a bit rude and the drinks were quite pricey. There was a poker game in progress however for an unknown reason we weren’t allowed to spectate the game which was unfortunate. Door staff and reception staff were friendly and very accommodating if it’s your first time at the casino.
Generally Grosvernor Casino is a great venue for responsible gambling, meet for drinks and nice food, especially Victoria Grosvenor, staff is absolutely 5 star quality but Grosvenor Glasgow few staff completely rude and not a place I will recommend anyone.
A lot nicer since it was refurbished. Nice food and drinks too.
Great casino. I go there for the poker cash games. Professional staff but not stuffy. There's good banter so it's lots of fun. Very friendly and welcoming to new players. Good drinks and food. Soft drinks are free while you are gambling.
