Best Latte and Parmesan Chicken I had in a while. Honestly, I was very surprised how good it was. I thought it was the typical Franchise food but it was something else. The Parmesan chicken combo with pickle and spicy mayo sauce was simply pleasant. Juicy succulent chicken complimented with the soft bread. I bought one at first and then The latte was something else. As a person who drinks latte everyday this latte brings the next level. Balance temperature with the perfect froth milk and quality beans. Not overpowering Brazil flavour but well balance. The chocolate cookie finish it off with a smile. There is no reason to come to clampham junction but if I do I will return to this cafe again. Love it! Ps: while reviewing latte in one hand my wife just went back in the shop for more takeaway
I used to get bubbly coffee everywhere but in this store the Italian guy makes the best soya flatwhite I ever had! Nice pastries and bread too
Michael was very attentive and friendly. He made me and my son feel very welcome with his warm nature and presence. We will 100% be coming back to this branch purely because of his hospitality. If there is a way to reward him in some way, please could Gail's management see to it that he is rewarded.
Nice enough branch with some friendly and efficient staff, but as another reviewer has pointed out, certain employees could improve on their their customer service skills. I was being served by one female staff member, until I was interrupted mid-sentence by her and another lady behind the till who, very oddly, started chatting and joking among themselves. The other lady who wasn't serving me then started asking the guy behind me what he'd like to drink, despite neither of them even taking my order yet. I had to pointedly interrupt and ask if either of them were serving me. Gail's might want to address this before it starts losing regular customers.
Was given a dirty look from the barista after explaining to him that my drink was too cold. I could also hear him muttering under his voice as I walked away. Certainly my last visit to this particular branch. Also the short lady with a very heavy accent is a bit too direct and lacks subtlety. “Yes Sir! For you ?” Is not an appropriate way to take orders.
Delicious bakery with very lovely personal. Was there every day during vacation because the food was soooo good thank you for the good and helpful service!
Very polite staff and great outdoor area facing the square. Very lively in the morning for a coffee
Mainly good stuff. Staff are a little off-hand and one doesn't really feel welcomed. Biggest problem is the San Francisco Sourdough bread. It has so many huge air bubbles in it that you end up throwing half the loaf out as it is unusable. I explained the problem. They responded that is the way sourdough is. I pointed out that in San Francisco they manage to make it without enormous bubbles, so perhaps they should revisit their recipe!
It may be a bit expensive, but the bread is absolutely worth it. Every time I go, I buy a special sandwich or quiche in addition and, so far, every one I've tried is as tasteful. As a recommendation, the honey, almond and walnut sourdough and the parmesan chicken sandwich are delicious.
Awesome cafe, freshly baked bread & pastries. Home made soup was delicious. And added bonus? Hugh Grant taking a snack after picking up his little girl from Thomas's nearby.
