Ordered a cab in advance, controller rang up and said " we can't pick you up" hung up on me. I rang him back, he told me not to call again. Very rude. I will not use again.
in the last week A very fantastic service I received. I booked it in advance in their office. The Boss was sitting himself in the control room, He gave me a fantastic service with a smile and on the day the driver was very helpful and he knew his job very well. I have been using Furzdown Cars for the last 15+ years each time I visit from USA and would not use any other service. They are always so polite, helpful and on time every time. They know all the shortcuts to and from the airport and the drivers never make you feel awkward. They are the best in the area and I give the 11/10
They are lovely people. They are reliable and very trustworthy. They ferry me around efficiently wherever I'm going, whether it be to the airport or around London. They have become friends, pillars of the community and much more than just a cab company. I would highly recommend them.
I booked a taxi last night so I could catch my train early. It sounded a bit overpriced at £40 from tooting to kings cross but I wanted to guarantee a car as I was leaving early. After waiting 15 minutes this morning the car didn’t show up I called the dispatch office who told me I’d have to pay £50 !!?? rather than 40. The man on the phone was rude and didn’t seem to care that he’d already risked me missing my train, let alone changed the price last minute to an outrageous amount. The car did show up in the end, 25 minutes late. I booked an Uber instead cost £20 for the trip and arrived in 5 minutes. I recommend you avoid this taxi firm!!
I had a blast! The driver was a lovely guy and we had a great conversation about the history of furzedown. The car was clean and he took me to my destination in no time as he knew all of the short cuts. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone in the furzedown area.
As someone who can't drive, I rely on good minicab services to get around late at night when public transport stops. Furzedown Cars have always been friendly and reliable, and I feel much safer than with electronic services such as Uber or Lyft where the drivers don't need background checks and you can be left waiting for hours. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a secure and dependable alternative!
All in all a lovely experience, especially with a 3 week old baby in the back with me!! Lovely driver and clean car means I’ll definitely recommend to the other dads at school!
