We bought our sofa set following the advice from Doug. Even though it hasn’t been delivered yet - the customer service we received was excellent. Doug was super helpful with all the options & made buying a sofa a simple & stress free process. Thanks again! We will definitely be back to look at other furniture.
The customer service we received from James was excellent both on our initial visit and then over the phone to take our order. it's quite rare now to encounter someone with patience and great product knowledge that allowed us to make the right informed decision. Very straightforward process of choosing a new mattress, but I really appreciated the help and advice I was given by sales assistant Doug. He even saved me from having to limp around on an injured ankle by doing the legwork for me. I hope the delivery is as prompt this time as it has been in the past when I have ordered things from this company. My only quibble is that I think the delivery costs are a bit high.
Our amazing assistant, Danielle was very cheery, helpful and is a great assistance. Well done and keep up the great work.
Carol at the Aintree store helped us today, and I have to say she was superb! We bought a new couch, rugs and pictures to finish our living room. Carol was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional and helped us make decisions on fabric and colour, all with our two young daughters under 5 in tow!! Which is a challenge at the best of times! Thank you Carol!
Carol could not have been more helpful when me and my partner went in to pick our new sofa and dining table. She took her time with us making sure we got everything we wanted. She was really welcoming and made our experience in the shop very positive.
Tom was most helpful with our purchase yesterday. He explained the finance and deposit options clearly. We felt very at ease in the store and we didn't feel any pressure to purchase like we have in previous showrooms we have visited.
Went into store to look for a new mattress . Jason come over to us to assist, he was very helpful and knowledgeable he recommended the perfect mattress and pillows for us . It has been three months now . Wonderful buy . Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone else our Hypnos mattress has been an excellent purchase. So pleased with our service we went back today to see Jason and ordered recliners for the study.
Would highly recommend that people do not buy from Furniture Village. We had a sofa delivered faulty, and the aftercare is criminal. They sent out an inspector which also confirmed that the cushion was as flat and did not match the rest. He recommend a new insert and told us it will probably be him that will fit it. We then received a reply from customer services stating that it is not a manufacturers fault so they will not replace the insert! Ofcourse it's a manufacturing fault as the sofa was less than a day old and the cushion is as flat as a pancake. We are having to take legal action on this as it is disgusting behaviour on which would be a very straightforward and cheap fix. If you are thinking of buying from these, please research them first as we have found thousands of customers in the same boat as us, which we are going to add to our report. Absolutely disgusting company which are 100% breaking consumer rights act
Ordered item with 16 week lead time after 16 wks got an update that it would be 20wks, thereafter no further update. Item eventually received 26 weeks after ordering, repeatedly stated frustration at having no update. Item delivered completely smashed and beyond use, offered £200 discount??!! Less than 5percent of purchase price, again had no contact since they confirmed to replace. Now left with broken table and out of pocket. Customer services this evening just stopped talking mid way through. Obviously thought they muted the call whilst they spoke with a colleague. I refused to hang up and eventually they did six mins later. Update: have emailed, called attempted contact via social media, promised response within 72 hours, over a week later still nothing not even a response to a formal complaint.
