Absolutely amazing ruins. After visiting the ruins of two other Abbeys earlier in the week, this one was on a far grander scale with more of the buildings surviving. We were lucky to pick a sunny day to visit with the light really helping to highlight the architectural details. There's a small museum at the entrance with additional information panels about the site, with staff being really friendly and helpful. There is an entry fee but members of English Heritage/Historic Scotland/Cadw get free entry as part of their membership.
Visited here on a rainy day and still had a fabulous time! The lady was so canny on the front desk and it was only £9.50 for myself and my 2 dogs to have a wander around. Was amazing to see so up close and my dogs had a lovely walk somewhere totally new! Dog friendly on leads was a real bonus as its nice to be able to visit more places when I have the 2 dogs with me and they also had fresh water for the dogs which was super handy : Would definitely recommend a walk around here for sure.

Well worth a visit if your in the area. Bring wellies if it's been raining, the ground is quite waterlogged in places. The Abbey is huge and there are plenty of areas to explore. The inside area has some interesting artefacts on display. There is a little gift shop and toilets on site. The lady in reception was very helpful and informative.
