Absolutely love this salon. I struggle with my mobility and have been needing somewhere where I can access different treatments all in the same place. Staff are great and so accommodating. Ive had my nails, brows and lashes done by Natasha who is excellent at what she does and is such a lovely lady. Can’t wait for my next visit. The Hot Chocolate is also the best everxxx
Popped in to see if they could do my nails as I have osteoarthritis in both my hands and fingers and the response was of course we can an hour later my nails look amazing best I’ve ever had done and the nail technician was amazing thank you Damaya see you soon xx
UPDATE: Had a response from the owner, apparently it was my fault for not announcing myself as trans. No apology, no accepting that they made a mistake. Couldn't have had a worse experience. The receptionist looked visibly uncomfortable and confused when I MtF gave the details for my booking, brought the stylist over who first stopped by a male colleague to ask if they were able to take over if needed, while surrounded by about 8 customers, then spoke directly to my wife who had come for support, rather than to me who had made the booking, ignoring me completely. I left and my wife explained we were not comfortable, the stylist did little to apologise or reassure. This was going to be my first cut. I'm crushed.
Lashes. Go to the self employed lash techs not the paid hourly. You won't end up paying £35 for infills that only take them 15 minutes YOU CANT INFILL IN THAT TIME. I went there and will not go again I had them removed and redone by another in Hillsborough who was shocked by the amount of glue used to do them explains how they get the infills done so quick ruining my natural lashes. Self employed cost ALOT less and spend a good hour or more to do proper lashes.
I had a new hair style and highlights this morning, from Chris - one of the chief stylists in the salon. Less than 5 hours later I have had three very welcome compliments: 1. 'Nice hair Grey, have you lost weight?' 2. 'Hi Grey, your cut makes you look years younger' 3. 'Grey, the new highlights really suit you' Honestly, you cannot say fairer than that? Well, I certainly can't!Services: Hairstyling
