Had a great experience buying my first camera here XT30 ii. Thanks very much to Alexis who explained clearly the differences between models and got me exactly what I needed for my safari, including lens suggestions. Highly recommended!
I visited the store to get some hands on experience with Fuji cameras and lenses while thinking about a new kit. Even though I did not end up buying anything then and there, the staff was extremely helpful and patient with me, showing me various lenses and bodies for more than half an hour while we also had a pleasant conversation. They even offered to let me step outside with quite an expensive setup to take a few test shots. Awesome experience, thank you!
Visited the store today, just to look around and ask a question about a camera. Not good customer service. At one stage felt watched by the security guard when I was looking at a not very expensive item, and the tall Eastern European male assistant was cold and unfriendly when I was asking a couple of questions about a camera. This will be my first and last time visiting the store. They have lost a potential regular customer.
I wanted to try the Fuji x-s10. The sale staff was looking at me trying to turn the camera on but did not assist. He was just quoting me all the different prices with different lenses, that was not helpful to me because the prices are already on display. I had come all the way from Portsmouth, Southsea. I even asked him for other recommendations, but because he saw me fixed on this he just said, this is the best one. It is not the expertise I was looking for at the flagship store in London.
I was not able to try the camera I wanted to buy. The sale staff male was very pushy in trying to sell the camera. Even asked me before leaving the shop would you like to purchase the camera. But did not even want to put the battery in the camera and let me try it. The display is just with a blank screen. As a photographer how will I know? Why come to the London flagship store in that case ???
As a professional photographer that uses Fujifilm gear, I went in to the Covent Garden store today with lots of technical questions relating to purchasing a new camera. And a staff member called Danilo was extremely helpful and very generous with his time. He provided lots of excellent advice, and expert technical insight into both Fujifilm camera specifically, but also wider technical aspects in terms of sensor technologies and the optical qualities of different lenses. I learned more in that 30 minute conversation than a whole month of my photography degree! Thanks so much Danilo.
A great place to visit, the staff are very friendly and helpful, they will demonstrate the Fuji range and allow you to try the different lenses they always have a event on the 1st floor. Well worth a visit.
Being an avid Fujifilm user, this was high on my list of places to visit during a visit to London. However, as someone else has also commented, the staff weren’t exactly friendly, and turned their back on me when I tried to say ‘hi’. Needless to say, the lens I was after was purchased from a different shop.
We walked out yesterday with a great high quality camera from the help of James. He showed us the ins and outs of it all and gave super helpful tips. Great guy :
Loved this space. Learn a lot and there’s a cute setup upstairs to pose and take photos yourself.
