We private hired Friends of Ours for a company dinner and the experience was 10/10. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and made a custom menu for us. We started outside because the weather was good and had a cocktail and appetizers there and then moved inside for the main meal. The food was delicious and the team had a blast! Would book again
Top quality food - especially the eggs, they're always perfect. Staff are so lovely and located in a peaceful corner of old street.Food: 5/5
I had my birthday party here and couldn't have wished for a better experience!! They created an amazing personalised menu, and those with dietary restrictions were well looked after with separate plates of food. The food was totally delicious and so were the cocktails, Izzy and Mina were super flexible and accommodating, and the outside space was a fabulous perk of the venue. Thanks very much to all the FOO team!!!
We went to try this place on Saturday but we left rather disappointed. Maybe we went on a wrong day and they were understaffed I’d like to think. Despite the queue, which was expected, the food took over an hour to arrive and it was cold. The focaccia was at least 5 days old and overly toasted. The flavour of the dishes was really good but we for sure won’t be coming back as for the wait it took and the quality, it’s not worth it.
Lovely food and ambience!! The eggs are amazing here. Super creamy and lovely golden colourFood: 5/5
First meal I had upon arrival back to the UK, super excited to get some local grub down me however…. Extremely over priced on every point, like 40p for a change of milk, seriously?! Couldn’t even swap out the sourdough bread for the brioche despite being told they only stock sourdough although both meals came with two different breads. The funky sauce under the hashbrowns was rank & lamb sausages… just forget about it! Worst £50 spent on two simple basic dishes! All to which I raised my concerns with the lovely young girl serving us & her answer was “the kitchen get really touchy about swapping out Sourdough for Brioche” shrugged & walked away.
Fairly limited menu and far from being cheap, however the quality of the food is not to be ignored. I had scrambled eggs on toast and the scrambled eggs were to die for. It was so creamy and tasty. 4 stars for the limited food menu and price. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level, wide enough inside to fit a wheelchair.
My favourite local place to go for either French toast or sourdough with scrambled eggs & bacon. Service is always friendly & efficient. Would love if they brought back the Vietnamese coffee! Food: 5/5
Stumbled across this cutie of a cafe. I don’t usually order oat milk with my coffee but their oat latte was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had, and the eggs on toast was deliciousFood: 5/5
The perfect Breakfast spot in London. Off the beaten path, in the heart of the local community. Delightful atmosphere, great food.Food: 5/5
