It could be called one of the better chip shops in Coventry if not the best! Cleanliness was really good. The food is fresh, quantity huge and great value for money. Their naan with mixed kebab is something you could try as the meat was quite succulent. The Fish and chips are a dependable home run, never disappoints. Even though we had to travel for 30mins we went here for the first time after reading of their award in the local paper and we were not disappointed. The food was great and very keen prices. The kebab was lovely and the fish was not too greasy and delicious. The chips were fantastic. Very friendly owners and the recent food award was well deserved. Will be back for sure
Best chippy I've ever had. No other chippy compares, in my experience. Food is always piping hot, and portions are well sized. Can always count on having a kebab sandwich or two the next day. Chips are always soft and crispy and scolops are always crispy and never stale. Well priced, always going to be my chippy recommendation until the day i die.
I love this place. The prices are so reasonable and a large portion of chips which are about £3.90 each easily satiate 2 people and to go along with a battered sausage each £1.90!, it creates a hearty meal for a fun price. I will make this my weekend chippy.
I'm a total foodie. What a Plaice! Excellent customer service, and the food is delicious and far the best chippy food I've tasted. Always greeted with a smile and never let down. Keep up the great food and service
Decided to grab some food while up to see my daughter at uni... Ordered Jumbo sausage+chips. Chicken kebab+chips and Vegan spring roll+ chips. Had to wait 10 mins for the spring roll to be cooked fresh. Shop looks clean and tidy. The staff where polite and very helpful. The food was hot and very tasty... Would definitely recommend.. Thanks guys.
Ordered some chips, curry sauce and jumbo sausages from Just Eat. One of the sausages had definitely been sat for a while and was firm and dry. The worst issue was the fairly long head hair we found in the food… shame because the few bits we are generally tasted good but obviously didn’t want to eat anymore after being contaminated with the hair
Time and time again, this place doesn't disappoint. Fresh food, great service. Sometimes it takes a while to get food, but that is all depending on amount of customers in the chippy.

Was in Coventry on a emergency gas call out last night and was recommended by the end user to go to st georges plaice fish and chips. All cooked fresh. Friendly staff. They was very busy and taking all precautions with current restrictions. The portion size are massive. Good price. The best fish and chips I have ever had. Very happy with my meal. I even called them up whilst I was eating my food to congratulate them on how nice it was. If I'm ever back in this area working I shall be stopping here for sure. There kebabs looked good aswell
