I have been at this surgery during my time as a student in Derby. I have had an ongoing issue that, without the support of this surgery I would have not been able to complete my studies or be supported during work. The online system is extremely useful, especially in my case for requesting medical notes. Messages are responded to very quickly and passed on to the appropriate staff.
Me and my family are trying to be seen by the doctor for over 2yrs now with no luck. Instead we are being sent away to pharmacies, or so called specialists who make diagnoses over emails or over phone!!!! Absolutely poor attitude towards patient. Sometimes I'm thinking if there are any doctors still working in this surgery or is there just unqualified receptionists who make diagnoses such as 'long term covid' or can diagnose skin issues purely over phone!!!!! Absolutely pathetic.
Love the convenience of their website and seeing the GP online, so much more efficient than the old way before the pandemic. We moved away from the area two years ago and we still use this GP because it just works so well with their IT services.
Reception staff extremely rude. The doctor knows from my age i am in school and continues to ring me in school hours lacking common sense. Then when rang after school hours to speak to a doctor the staff told us to fill out the form again when it was clear the issue needing treated immediately as it was causing many issues.
Absolute shambles of a gp practice. Been waiting 3 months for a call back about mri scan results. And the doctors are fully refusing to see my son about a rash and just trying to diagnose before they've seen anything. They don't care and don't bother to follow up with patients. Stay well clear of this place if you want a gp that shows even a slight bit of care towards their patients
My partner would love to leave a good review if she actually managed to see a GP from this practice. She’s been in agony for over 2 weeks now, and the out of hours doctor who you palmed her off with previously prescribed her antibiotics that she didn’t even need, and told her to go to a walk in centre! I tell you what, that’s some service...Time to pull your fingers out alongside the rest of the practices in this country. It’s getting beyond a joke now. Just because she’s 24 and considered healthy I bet you’re putting her right to the back of the queue? Well I’ve noticed her coughing her guts up for over 2 weeks now and let me tell you she’s not in a good way. This can either get sorted or I’ll take her to your establishment face to face. And no out of hours doctor, they’re even more useless. I’m also conscious of the person on here replying to more reviews than they are actually talking to their patients.
The receptionists are fantastic! They go above and beyond to help! Friendly doctors, problems with physical issues and conditions are resolved quickly! Over all a good surgery as long as your mental health isn’t an issue
Certain GPs are incredibly rude and unprofessional, not afraid to tell you that you're lying without even listening when trying to explain issues and essentially talk to you as if you're a child. If reviews and appointments are going to be conducted over the phone, then it might pay for phone manner to be worked on.
This doctors have a horrific way of treating patients regarding mask exemptions. Literally will refuse you medical care if you have an exemption from wearing a mask and using the term "company policy" as if it overrides the law of the country. Absolutely disgusting display and will be telling everyone not to go here.
Iv been waiting months for the doctor to see my 5 year old or even call me to have a decent conversation. This gp Is a shambles and I can see I’m not the only person who thinks this. It’s unacceptable
