Trying to get an appointment is pointless, have rung on several occasions for one to be told that it was a 3 week wait. Rang to get an appointment for my partner and couldn't end upnwith him having a major heart attack which could have been advoided. Then again when he came out of hospital was told to come to over flow clinic lucky saw our own doctor. Even trying to get an appointment with the nurse is a mission, getting letters to say about needing certain test and can't get an appointment.

The doctors are great, but the other staff are incredibly rude. Couldn't even ask the lady on the phone to repeat a number she rushed through when giving me without her having a huge attitude. It was unbelievable. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. This was after I waited on the phone forever (as usual), and was transferred without even given prior notice. It also takes like a month to get an appointment.

I joined the Derby Medical center in 2001, and have been very happy with the service that I get from the centre. Generally I find the reception staff helpful, once or twice over the.years I have experienced moody staff, but at the end of the day if you get out of the wrong side of the Bex it can really mess your day up. Also we.don't know what abuse they have had to up with by patients. Out of the Dr's I have seen there,they have all been professional and have a good bedside manner. I generally get to see my GP which is good. I am a heavy user of the NHS due to services due to my many health problems, which began a a kid, not that they stopped me from doing sport etc. I remember saying to my GP, you must hate seeing my name show on screen so many times. Her reply put me at ease, " I would prefer to see patients like you, as you have got syndromes and progressive health problems that are not going to go sway, and need medical input for the rest of your life.. I would rather see you than a patient who turns up with a sore nose, to find out it's a pimple". I recommend the Derby Medical center wholeheartedly.

The staff were lovely. I was in the evening clinic and the doctor was from another surgery. He was amazing. He listened to me, was funny, didn't make me feel anxious at all.

Drs and all staff so helpful. One bad receptionist one time so 4*. But most of everyone is really great
