I really love this park. It's not too big yet perfect for evening walks. You meet lovely dogs and owners here. There are few benches to sit down too. Children can play in the playground or run around on the grass. There is a view towards the sea on the horizon which is visible during the warmer months.
Small city park with good views to Plymouth Sound. Nice playground for little ones with a cheap and cheerful cafe nearby. There is a memorial to Michael Foot who once lived overlooking the park.
I went to watch Mad Dog Mcrea at the Freepm Fields Festival and managed to find one space in a nearby road that was close enough to the park and relatively level, so I could use my rollator to finish my journey. It looked like a good park, from what I could see, but I loved the fact it was being used for the festival as well, making full use of the space.
Lovely little park, thats good for all with an added bonus of amazing views out across the sound.
It is a lovely park to sit for relaxation and a quiet time. Safe play ground for kids and animal friendly space. I actually enjoy the basket court where I play to relieve stress and exercise
Great place to walk a dog, as long as the picnickers don't mind getting interrupted every now and again. There's a nice group of respectful dog owners. The café is nice. Breakfast bap is excellent value.
