What an incredible pub! The Free Trade Inn completely lives up to the hype. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool. it's the perfect, unpretentious place to catch up with friends.nnWe managed to grab a spot in the beer garden and the view of the Tyne Bridge and the Quayside is simply unbeatable. It's the best backdrop for a pint in the entire city.nnThe beer selection is fantastic. A great mix of local ales and interesting craft beers, all kept perfectly. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable when we couldn't decide what to order. Love their selection of Kernal beers on my last visit.nnA truly special pub that feels authentically Newcastle. We'll be back again.
Excellent little pub just about 1km walking distance from the millenium bridge.nGreat beer selections, both traditional beers on cask, plenty of taps and cans/bottles, and some of these might even be slightly hyped ones, so there is a really nice mix of beers available.nnNot sure if they serve food or not, but during my last visit they had a selection of cheese an there was also a food truck located outside.nnAnd the views are really nice looking towards the Millenium Bridge.nnHighly recommend to visit this place!
The Free Trade Inn is definitely one of the best pubs in Newcastle for craft beer! Their keg and cask selection is always great.nnThe staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, the prices are clearly displayed on the board, so there are no hidden costs.nnHey, if you haven't been before – what are you waiting for?! You're in for a treat!
This has to be one of the best pubs in the UK, let alone Newcastle. Great location with great outdoors areas for when the weather is nice.nIncredible selection of beers on cask, keg and can / bottle. They seem to cover all bases from lighter Pale Ales, to IPAs, stouts and sours.nGreat service.
Probably my favourite pub in Newcastle. Sitting outside at any time of the year is great it especially on a nice e evening, get a beautiful view across the river Tyne and wonderful sunsets.nnDecent range of ales and ciders, a popular and busy place, dog friendly too
