High quality food and coffee, for those that don’t drink milk they only had almond and oat milk, but whichever oat they used was good. The avocado with egg on toast was great. The service is quick, the music not too loud and the decor shabby chic. I’d come here again no question.
Wanted to take shelter in a nice cafe between sessions at LSE. The name sounded fantastic for a coffee lover. The coffee was fantastic as well. Unfortunately not enough seats to enjoy it. Takeaway coffee cups are kill joys for me and the price was in the higher side. In summary, if one just loves the coffee , it’s flavour and texture then this is definitely the place for you but if values the experience of having a coffee that includes reflection, conversation , exploration or solitude, then the his place may meet all of those expectations
Warm, friendly service. Espresso beverages are excellent, definitely well dialled in. Might be a bit bright or acidic for some, but suits me just fine. Bit of a queue for espresso coffee in the mornings. Brewed coffee is not as great, but a lot faster. Good enough to do the job for me. There's food as well, sandwiches, pastries and baked pasta. Portions are hearty and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit. Added bonus - wall mural showing the names and locations of other great coffee places in London too. Contactless payment options available.
Really cute espresso and coffee bar next to Sicilian Avenue around Holborn. Stumbled on it really as we searched for a nice cafe for coffee. It’s cosy, bright and the staff are super friendly and professional. The coffee was really nice. I had a latte. My friend had a tea. Good vibes, not too loud, food seemed very healthy and organic though we didn’t eat, I could smell the food being served and it looked yum. Will definitely go back.
It’s a coffee kinda day in London .... Just on my way back from PT and decided to pop into this place for a coffee before hitting the rush hour rush on the underground!! When you order a coffee to drink in they let you sit down and they bring the coffee over when it’s ready. Lovely coffee Friendly staff Reasonable prices Fab music and atmosphere Fast and professional service Much better to support the small business rather than the big coffee companies Highly recommended
I absolutely love this place!!! Get my coffee here all the time on the was to school. The morning manager Frederica and assistant manager Camilla are amazing!!! Super friendly and knew me from day two!!! They also make amazing coffees!!! Nice pastries too!!! Update: had my first breakfast there and it was AWESOME. Smashed avocado on toast with feta cheese. The music and vibe there is great!! And all the staff are really welcoming and nice.
I wanted a coffee in Holborn that wasn't a chain. I find their coffee not to be strong enough. I stumbled across this little place and I'm pleased I did. I had a coffee piccolo and a bacon roll. The bacon roll was ok, but the coffee very enjoyable. It's likely I'll return here if I'm in the area, but I'll sample something else from the food menu. Update February 2018. I've now been coming here for over 6 months and I return almost daily. The coffee here is consistently good, the food enjoyable and the staff very very friendly. I enjoy it here so much I think it only fair to increase my score to 5 stars.
One of the best coffee shops in central London! Both the food and coffee are always excellent - and the free oat milk is a nice bonus! Their granola bar - pictured here - is perfect for a not-too-sweet pick-me-up, but their cacao and peanut butter energy balls also make for a great snack. As this is right near many of London's universities, it's worth noting that they offer a student discount especially useful if you're studying abroad here in London and are on a tight budget.
Very nice espresso, on the expensive side but definitely worth it. Often busy and hard to get a seat. Staff sometimes get a bit slow but never to an annoying extent, also nice nibbles.
Shabby/dirty and cold venue, unfriendly staff and overpriced! When I asked to pay cash at the till the waitress wasn't happy at all and annoyed she gave me a lecture about how much I slow down the queue. It was 8.30 am, I was not ready to be told off and I was very embarrassed. £ 2.80 for a tiny cup of cold cappuccino is a bit too much. They brought it to my table without sugar which I had to look for it by myself around the cafe. Not well maintained and dirty place, please see the photo.
