Amazing italian restaurant. Just next to Victoria Park it has a proper italian taste. I loved the burrata and the truffle pasta. They also make an amazing coffee! I will be back to try the pizza
Had a wonderful meal here with friend. The squid starter was lovely and lightly battered and fresh. We had one of each of the escalope dishes for main and both were delicious. Portions are generous. I would have preferred less breaded chicken and more spaghetti, but that is my preference. Finished up with some lovely ice cream and sorbet. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The service was quick but certainly not rushed, but then again the restaurant wasn't crowded. Altogether a wonderful night and I look forward to returning.
We have had lunch here a couple times now, both times with our little ones. It is a nice local cafe, decent food, but the people that work here are fantastic. On our most recent visit the waiter noticed we had our hands full with a wild toddler and crying baby & our waiter offered to take the baby, he actually took the crying baby off our hands, calmed him down & walked him around the restaurant so my husband could have a bite to eat! So amazing & kind! The calamari was amazing, cooked perfectly! We will be back!
I love this place!! Came here several times, after having being recommended it by a friend, and I have to say it really feels like being home. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious, to say the least. If you're around Victoria Park this place is an absolute must. People who wrote bad reviews about this place obviously have a conflicts of interest, and/or do not understand anything about food, and/or are those kind of people who always like to complain, because honestly, being Italian and having lived in this city for the passed 7 years, I must say this is one of the best Italian places I have ever eaten at in London. Definitely 100% recommended!
Buon Appetito were wonderful in helping us arrange a dinner for our wedding day. They organised a set menu and communicated brilliantly with us about all the details. We had the restaurant all to ourselves and the food was absolutely delicious! The profiteroles blew us away! They made the day even more special for us, thank you so much!
Used to go there very often on Sundays but after the last experience definitely won't go back anymore! Pizza wasn't just awful as taste but also came in small/strange size like it just was thrown there, including the toppings a waitress as well was making fun saying "pizzas have indefinite shape today". There is no service at all and no one of the waiters speaks English properly. Pizza maker/chef seems to have some kind of frustration or self-consciousness issues as he is always shouting to the staff and manager and throwing things around and just looking angrily at the people around. I also heard him swearing when we got it the pizzeria as he was pissed to see customers and have to cook again...maybe this explains our disgusting pizzas which by the way ruined our Sunday meal with friends! Also our check came written by hand on a piece of paper and if you ask to remove service charge this won't happen; so I do not recommend this place if you wanna have a nice meal.
Freshest food I've had in long while. The staff was very welcoming and the director Diletta was very accommodating and even the chef Marco came to our table to have a chat with us and explain us he's a regular at Billingsgate Market where gets his fresh fish and seafood. I took my parents there for lunch and even being as fussy about food as Italians can be there were extremely satisfied
This is our local Italian. We love it!! The food is delicious, good affordable wines, and the Campari Spritz are a joy!! Last night while celebrating my husband’s birthday, chef had a bit of a meltdown. This was unfortunate not only for Diletta but for the customers, too. We hope whatever issues will be resolved.
Ups and downs. First visit about two months ago, had the seafood linguine and found it possibly one of the best seafood pasta dishes I had tasted in a long time and being Italian and a former chef, I tend to be very fussy with my pasta. Second visit today, had the grilled squid starter which was slightly on the small side and not really exciting two pieces of squid on top of some plain celery strips. Had the seafood linguine again and, while the seafood was still very fresh, the dish in itself was just correct, nothing more. Will probably give it another try, but they best deliver, as it's also not exactly the cheapest Italian in town...
Owner physically assaulted and screamed at a waitress and sweared about us in Italian, thinking that we could not understand the language. Forgot to make my dinner, took an hour and a half to make everyone else's and played cheesy music obnoxiously loud. Would not recommend at all with current owner, not a good family outing experience for my grandads birthday. The fish and chips i got on the way home was nice though.
