We have 25,000 art, craft, photography and gift products over three floors, but you’ll find we are much more than simply a great place to shop.

Story

We are located right in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria train stations and Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens.

We have 25,000 products in 10,000 square feet of space over three floors, but you’ll find we are much more than simply a great place to shop. On the ground floor you will be welcomed by two working vintage chemical photo booths, one colour, one black and white. And in the sub-basement you can hire our laser studio or book one of the many craft courses run by our friends at the Ministry of Craft.

Trading for 130 years, we have everything you need to make anything you want.

Great shop full to the brim with stationary, art supplies and crafting materials. From the outside it looks like a standard size shop until you go inside and explore downstairs. There is so much to look at and can't imagine going in there and not coming out with something quirky and cool and wanting to create something! Definitely check it out if you are in the area!
Have bought online before, but found myself in Manchester so thought I’d drop in. It is MASSIVE. 2 full sized floors covering all aspects of arts and crafts, with a basement level solely reserved for papers and canvases. Brilliant selection and a great independent retailer!
Amazing place for any crafter. I'm an absolute noob but still enjoy roaming around the isles trying to get ideas and inspiration from all the products they offer. They are a bit on the pricey side, but also offer scrap acrylics, paper cutting to size, etc on the "-2" floor which other craft stores just don't!

I wish I knew the existence of this this place sooner, they've got everything for arts and crafts. The staff are really friendly and really helped me out, would definitely recommend going there even if your not the artsy type of person
Honestly have to say that this is probably the best craft store I’ve ever been to - and it was a random discovery on a day trip to Manchester. I’m used to Hobbycraft and the occasional trip to CassArt not something we have in Nottingham but I have to say that I’ve never seen Procion dyes for sale anywhere else. The gift ideas on the first floor were fun, I saw some things I’ve not seen for years, but the treasure trove downstairs was great. Interesting selection of craft books, paracord in nice bright colours, three different types of fabric dyes, quilling paper, spraycans, all the scissors your crafty little heart could desire, a great notice board with workshops etc on it by the stairs etc etc. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe slightly short on the amount of cross stitching threads, but most places are and despite this had a good selection of embroidery hoops.
Easy to spend lots of money here, fabulous range of crafts. Would love more stuff for book-binding but other than that I can't complain!
Great place with plenty of items spread across three floors. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable, perfect for all my print needs.
Love this place! They sell anything and everything to do with art and craft, along with really gorgeous gifts, cards and stationery. Wish we had one in the Midlands! Staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Always enjoy a visit whenever I'm in Manchester.
