Flooring we picked is perfect shame about the messing about we had about getting it fitted had to rearrange my time. Told Frank's I wasent happy but cause the fitter is someone they recommended want nothing to do with it now 10 months later floor is lifting we have never mopped or steam cleaned it rang Frank's again not interested, gave me fitters number rang and left voicemail about issue waiting for phone call back that I don't think I will get. Never go back spend 3k and expect much better service would have been better doing it myself. Edit 3 years after fitting absoule cowboys
Not the cheapest carpets around anymore but I needed the same carpet that I had in my bedrooms for the living room and stairs all open plan. The owner of the store came out to measure up he had no tape measure and was like a whirling dervish measure up with my tape measure apparently he was going out for tea with his wife and was running late, then when I went to pick the carpet I felt very rushed again he was getting picked up as he's wife was at the metro centre basically all he wanted was me to pay and go. On the day of the carpet fitting the carpet fitter was very surly and although we arranged new grip rods he really didn't want to change them. One of the grip rods he fitted he didn't screw the screws in far enough and my husband cut all his foot in my opinion he had not put the correct grip rod down the one he took off was completely different They also left loads of mess and loads of underlay and carpet which apparently is my responsibility to get rid of nobody told me that when i paid the £1250 Couldn't get in touch with the shop for 2 days the phone just kept ringing eventually I spoke to Tom and he give me the fitters number, however he didn't reply. So my husband went out bought the correct grip rod and fittered it himself. I rang the shop again this time I spoke to the owner however he was no help kept blathering on and avoided every question I asked I asked to be rebursed for my husbands time to fit the grip rid and the grip rod cost. He kept saying I'll send the carpet fitter out to sort it it had already been sorted so in the end I hung up. No customer service at all very disappointed in my whole experience with Frank's Factory Floor will never go there again wished I had just changed the bedroom carpets and gone somewhere who cares.
After deliberating for some time on choosing a stair carpet and still unable to decide, we went back to Frank's Chester-le-Street and were given a lot of advice as to what I really wanted from Tom. And he was absolutely right! Carpet now ordered and can't wait for the finished results. Thank you so much Tom for your expert and valued advice, and also the earliest fitting date.
Excellent customer service. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. We wanted some laminate flooring for our hall and living room and the choice they have is great. We also saw some lovely carpet options which we will go back for for our stairs at a later date. The lovely gentleman Franks nephew no less!! served us and was so lovely and really helped us with our order as we needed the flooring quickly. He got on the phone for us, ordered it and we can pick it up next week I will 100% recommend buying from this local, family owned business to all my friends.
Tom was so helpful when I visited the store today for the first time. I'm moving into the area and with a lot to do, Tom's knowledge and guidance made the whole experience really easy A great selection of flooring at varied prices to suit all. I got value for money with fitting well before Christmas. Thanks again Tom!
Absolutely love my new carpets and vinyl flooring reasonably priced Tom was brilliant really friendly so helpful too gave me contact details for someone to help clear all the old carpets etc The carpet fitters were really friendly worked hard great customer service, definitely would recommend. Thanks again.
Excellent service and really friendly staff. Tom gave us a good laugh after we had spent all day looking in other carpet shops. He matched another quote then knocked some extra off. We would always prefer to shop at a local shop anyway, but found that the service here was much more friendly and personal than at the bigger shops we had bought from previously.

First class service. Tom was very helpful in store. Price very reasonable and choice of carpets in store was excellent. Carpets delivered and fitted in time for Christmas. Carpet fitters were excellent. Overall 10/10
It took a while to order and pay for the carpets in the shop as Tom never shut up long enough for us to speak. Carpets were fitted but didn't have enough to complete the stairs. The fitters came back the following week with the wrong carpet and we were told we would just have to wait for the right one and they didn't know when that would be. I complained to Tom who threatened to remove all the carpets from the house if I didn't like it. I would never waste my time or money dealing with this lot again. And if Tom hasn't already told you at least half a dozen times.......he's related to Frank you know yawn
