Frankie & Benny's

Love this chain, moved and this is now our local branch. Went last Monday food was great, prices good, service average. Went again tonight, 2 front of house staff, waited 5 mins to be seated, and then sat at the table for 15 mins until we left hungry and dying of thirst to spend our money somewhere else. Won't be in a rush to be going back. Really disappointed tonight.

Avoid at all costs especially if ordering! Do not ever order from them using via UBER eats they will send you half the size of the portions and if you have problems their manager says go and solved it with UBER eats! Totally disappointing and be careful they try to cut corners!

This place has lost its spark. The atmosphere which it once had has completely gone. - I dislike the new menu style, it feels like a kids menu not the style I thought Frankie & bennys was aiming for. - Always a lack of staff & staff shouting at the chefs which is disrupting when sitting right next to the kitchen. - Always people having to send their food back as it’s never hot enough, probably because it sits waiting to go out for ages because of the lack of staff. - They now play random chart music instead of the older classics. - The Happy Birthday tune is always SO loud it distrupts all conversation and vibe. - The food is so so.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Terrible customer service. They were offering free desserts with main meals on Uber so I decided to order. It was all false advertising! I spoke to a manager on the phone and she didn't even know what she was doing. She said Uber will refund me the money for a free order. And when I mentioned it was free it eventually clicked in. Then she said it doesn't show up on the copy of the receipt. Yet on the copy of the receipt I received 1 of the free items actually shows up. So she back tracked after checking (which is absolutely shocking she didn't in the first place) that yes there was 1 free desert there. I said to her this is the 2nd time your business cocked up as I ordered a takeaway with them before outside of Uber. And she said 'I do not appreciate you talking to me like that' even though I was talking about the incompetency of the business. Which I clarified to her and she knew I was in the right so she didn't say anything further about that. Then she said to complain to Uber since the driver should have checked before taking the order. I have a feeling I am going to be yo-yoed between these 2. I am very close to reporting this to a regulating body as I have other people who have the same experience with this people. Appalling customer service. If you add yourself to UberEats get your systems to talk to each other. Also food is dry and bland. It's like they put more care if you order there and don't care about take away customers at all.

Food quality is good but service time can be very long. On 3 out of 5 times we have been recently we have been waiting a long time for our food and then had to hunt down someone to pay at the end. Shame as if it was faster service then I would say this was a 5 star F&B.
