Francis Iles is the kind of store you'll visit for something specific and walk away with a dozen other little treats. Their stock is always full of fresh new products no matter what you're interested in (which is useful if you're not sure where to start with a new hobby), and caters to all abilities (whether you're encouraging your child to knit or paint, or you make mixed media models as a business, you'll find materials here !). The store layout does have steps at the very back, and to the floor above, however the staff are lovely and are more than happy to assist wheelchair users by fetching items. The store manages to have a homey feel while maintaining it's professional air, which is nice, though if you're new to arts and crafts stores it may be the perfect place to start as it's not as overwhelming as something like HobbyCraft ! I wanted to leave a very in-depth review for this store as it's one of my favourites (not just because of their loyalty stamp cards), and realised I'd never even thought about factors such as cleanliness... it's unthought of because it's perfect ! I've never seen dust, or even smelled the scent of someone's lunch in there at all, kudos for keeping that up ! :')

Love this arts & crafts shop. It's a magical treasure chest of creative goodies with a warm and friendly feel to it. This is now my favourite shop.
