Found this treasure on Google, have to say best chippy in Newquay so far. Chips was a loverally texture and cooked in beef dripping. Fish was beautiful and fresh as if it just came out of the sea. Big portions to the point they was wrapped separately.
After arriving home find out only got kids order. Missing 2 regular cods. Calling them nobody answering the phone. Joke. Chips were full of oil. Can not say anything about the cod cos I never got it. £26 for 6 cod bites and two bags full of oily chips. Before You leave the shop check your orders!
This place does what I'd say is the best fish and chips I've ever had! The fish was so dense and flavourful can definitely taste the beef dripping! and the chips were crispy and not greasy at all. Portions were good, and chips were very generous. The place was busy but the wait wasn't too long, which I was impressed by.
Amazing fish and chips!! This was some of the best fish and chips I have ever had. It was also really good value. We bought 7 portions and the wait was not too long. Some of our party said it was much better than Stein's fish and chips on Fistral beach. My son also said the burger was very nice! Would thoroughly recommend, but get there a bit early as over the week I saw the queue out the door every day!!
Found this little gem while on holiday, absolutely love the fact you cook your food in beef dripping! Amazing…not very often you find a chippy that does that anymore. We just had to come and order again and again. Fantastic choice of food and my children loved you kids meals. Great value for money. You will now be our go to chippy every time we visit Newquay.

Fish was perfect even if they cooked it in batter, not in bread crumbs as I asked for it. Batter was pretty thin and crispy, so, really I can't complain. Cod tasted great and one portion was enough for two adults. There was a queue, but the staff worked really fast I didn't wait for too long. The only reason for putting 4 stars is the quality of chips. Maybe I just was unlucky and got all the bits from the bottom of the bag, but there were really mostly only the bits and just a few proper chips. Anyway I would recommend this place for fish, so pity I found this place when it's time to leave Newquay.
Best Fish & Chips I've had in a long time. Kids enjoyed their burgers too. Ability to order online and collect really helpful too. Prompt friendly service. Definitely worth a try if visiting Newquay or surrounding areas.
Possible 1 of the better chip shop with in Newquay area. Good portion sizes and food quality. The only negative thing I could say is the waiting time. But then when most of the stuff gets cooked fresh and it being a very popular chip shop it can't be helped. Clearly see all the staff working flat out to serve up everyone's food as quick as possible. I ordered a variety of things Chicken, fish, sausage chips peas curry. All of which was enjoyed by all.
It is rare to find somewhere that fries in dripping these days but we are always glad to find somewhere that does. The wife is a bit of a fish and chip connoisseur and she says these are the best she has had. Better than a number of award winning places we have been to. Keep resisting the RBD oils!Food: 5/5
