One star is far too much. Awful meal....there were 8 of us and 4 had steak. 3 of them were over cooked despite asking for medium rare and the one cooked medium well was rarer than the others. Sent mine back and it came back blue. All the chips were cold, so were the mushrooms and prawns. The fish and chips were slightly better but definitely won't be going back. Think maybe they need a new chef as the decor is actually very nice and could be good if the food improved by 100%

We found Gabby and her team very friendly creating a great atmosphere. We had sirloin steak and a jalfrezzi which were perfectly produced and very tasty. It was an excellent evening and we will certainly be back soon.

Before providing the reason behind the rating of 1 star, it is worth noting I feel this rating is very generous. After recent poor service at this establishment, against our better judgement, my partner and I decided to visit, following a change of ownership. After waiting approximately 10 minutes to be seated, it was a furher 25 minutes before our drinks order was taken, at which point we were told our food order would be taken 'in a minute'. 25 minutes later our food order was eventually taken, after multiple tables around us having their orders taken (which were seated after us) and after this was done, we were then told it would be about an hour for our food to be made, why we were not told this before being seated and ordering drinks is a mystery. It is understandable that when busy there are likely to be delays, however, we do not feel it is worth waiting an hour to find out that you will have to wait another hour for your order to be ready. It's clear that a change of management does not mean better service, this is still poor and staff are far from helpful.

Truthfully, I feel too generous giving 1 star. The food was as hard and cold as a 4 week old corpse... Not to mention the waiting time too which wasn't far off 4 weeks either. Very stuck up manager felt challenged and unwelcome by her behaviour. She seemed like she didn't enjoy working there which I can understand.

Great food for the type of place. Warm plates, warm food, pleasant welcome and well cooked food. Well worth a visit.
