Been a few times for food with my partner and son, children's meals are fantastic size and prices very well. Adults meals are lovely very tasty and so cheap for what you get. Staff very friendly and place is lovely and clean will continue to come here.

The plates and cutlery are very dirty as the fork i had had dried up food on it. Their is food on the seats and the staff do not seem to care. The staff are also late to clean to tables to. Their is also food on the floor. Also the chairs at one table do not math and they are all not in place. U also have to wait a long time for drinks. But overall the toilets are much cleaner than the actual place.

I go here quite a bit because it’s close by and quite reasonably priced but I have to say that the place seems to lack a ‘management presence’ behind it. The place looks like a bomb has hit it at times and quite frequently I have had to move dirty plates and glasses so that I can sit down at a table. You can also regularly expect to be kept waiting 10 minutes to order food or drinks, the beer is very very poorly cared for - on a couple of occasions I have had to say ‘sorry but I’m not drinking that please pour me another one’ without even having to taste it! Better trained bar staff and more of them please! Having said that, as long as you’re not expecting a Michelin star roast dinner like some reviewers here seem to think they’re going to get and you stick to the sensible pub-grub-stuff the chef does a good job in the kitchen. In summary, decent food at a decent price, but don’t let your elbows rest in the same spot on the table for too long otherwise you’ll have to peel them off again!

Always a joy to come here.. it has a bit of a kiddy atmosphere at the back but it's friendly and welcoming.. great bar staff!!

Nice location and surroundings. Service was a little slow although it was quite busy. Food was better than usual for a Hungry Horse pub/restaurant. Prices were very reasonable as always at Hungry Horse.
