This place used to be excellent, and sometimes it still is. However that is not the issue anymore. Its the prices that they now charge. £6.50 for a pizza supper is scandalous. In fact I would pay it but if you want to order through the app then add 2.50 delivery fee round the corner 50p service charge what?? And 15p bag charge never used to exist this place will make a fortune and rightly so when the food is good at times but its almost like how can they get even more out of the ordinary customer. 3.15 to have a pizza supper delivered.... its put me off ordering in future.
Got a White pudding supper, what could go wrong. Waiting on fresh chips.. First, at the counter there is no organisation with who is ordering, waiting, etc. Second, I order a white pudding at 7.30pm, and it's clearly sat there since 4.30. skin rock hard, contents bone dry. Absolutely disgusting.
Fast service and I've used them a few times and each time the food was great. They even do ice creams in the fridges at the front. Plenty of staff means you don't wait for forever in a line. Parking is a pain though as it's near a busy junction. I've tried the jalapeno poppers and they were just ok, the usual stuff is great though.
Good chippy faire, but the pizzas are great. Recommend ordering mozzarella and mature cheddar on your pizza if you like it cheesy. If you go in person it's busy but fast. The delivery is reliable too.
I called to place an order because their menu is very confusing. I asked them to explain to me what Fish1 and Fish2 mean. After explaining, I ordered 1 Single fish, just the 1 fish, I get delivered and charged for 2. I call to fix this and tell them they can have one back, I don't need it. I explained that the word 'single' means one. She wouldn't have it, she started raising her voice at me. Telling me I'm wrong and they won't do anything about it. I said 'never ordering from you again, thanks'. Indignantly, she said 'that's fine'. I have never seen this level of customer service anywhere else. There are 101 other fish and chips places in the area, who care more about their customers. I don't need to deal with the rudeness of someone whose behaviour only shows a lack of education. I will encourage anyone I know to avoid it. Reply: It's funny how you have something to say to everything anyone has to say against you, yet take no responsibility - for all the bad reviews you received - not once do I see 'We apologize, we'll do better/how can we make it better', only a fake 'thank you' and an excuse. No wonder your reviews are at 3.9 Regardless of who is right or wrong, your attitude stinks. I do not allow anyone to speak in that manner to me, nevermind someone...like your employee... Oh...it's spelt 'their voice', not 'there voice' - and yes she did, she absolutely treated me like I'm below her. Throughout the conversation, not 1 swear word came out of my mouth towards 'your staff' ; Stop telling lies, I never called a second time!!
Place is going down hill ask for sauce and get a dribble or none they act like it comes out their wages. People that answer the phone should maybe listen to the simple instructions given WONT BE BACK the food was also rank rotten full of grease and undercooked too not good specially when I’m pregnant my partner was Ill after eating the food too.
Food decent. Pity they fail to give you the correct food every time you order. Online, phone or in the shop, no matter how you order they get it wrong. Don't know if it's a language barrier or people looking at the orders hard of thinking. Disappointing as food is pretty good
Not as good as everyone makes out, the chips I had where disgusting! Tasted like old dirty grease the sausages from my supper as well looked crispy but all you could taste was grease! Do not recommend.
Ordered 6 pm delivered 7.20 pm understand it’s busy on a Saturday night. So can staff not advise that there might be over on hour waiting time Food was just hot enough. But not worth the waiting time. Maybe just warn customers of being busy. Must say never had a problem in the past.
Great chips n cheese - it would be better if it came delivered the same each time - quite a few times I have to pop it in the microwave as often not hot when it arrives - quick delivery - prices ok
