An independent business that revives the former glory of healthy, authentic Taiwanese bubble tea.

Story

Since established in Oxford 2012, we use carefully sourced tea leaves, which we get directly from Taiwan and use a meticulous brewing process that brings out our unique, finely balanced taste. With just a handful of expertly chosen options we ensure that every cup is made to perfection. This is how we take local tea drinkers to a whole new level of tea appreciation.

We offer free samples in the shop, so you can find a favourite in no time. Our teas certainly make a long day easier!

Hands down the best bubble tea place in Oxford by far! Very authentic taste, all of the other places make their teas too sweet. Interior inside is delightful. Service was a bit slow, had to wait around 10min for one drink, even though it was not busy inside. The staff were still nice about it though.
As a bubble tea hunter, this one is so far the best tea in UK. The tea is real and authentic. Big plus is providing seat with quiet environment. The service is also nice and polite, not rude at all as the other comments state.
We enjoyed our bubble teas. The classic kombucha though, was a little sugary for our tastebuds. The location is interesting, it’s like the real deal i.e. in some alleyway in Taipei
A hidden gem in Oxford among all the tourist trap bubble tea places. Authentic green tea, the pearls are great. There is a rewards program.
I have tasted many a bubble tea in Oxford, and this is by far the most authentic one I have had, you can really taste the superior quality of the ingredients. I love the ethos of this place, and the clear passion behind the drinks. You can read about the history in the shop which was very interesting. When I requested a drink with less sugar, they even had me taste the drink as they were making it to check I was happy with the sugar level which I found very kind! The lemon drinks in particular are so delicious and refreshing!
Lovely and cosy atmosphere with a nice seating area, which is now open! The owner is very passionate about what he does. The teas, most if not all, are tasty, natural, and home-made. A great local shop. My fav is warmed jasmine green tea with milk. And the extra pearls are free! Highly recommended!
Hands down the best bubble tea place I've ever been to. If you want a natural bubble tea with fresh ingredients and no artificial additives, this is the place for you. They also gave us some kombucha to try. After having tasted the ones in the usual stores, I did not expect much. But this kombucha? A-ma-zing. Subtle. Soft. Fragrant. Again, all natural. Might not have the 100s of types like the other chain stores, but the types they do, they do perfectly.
This is easily the highest-quality bubble tea place in Oxford. The tea and bubbles taste excellent and are perfectly sweetened. It is slightly more expensive than your average bubble tea place, but definitely worth the extra money.
Good quantity and taste. Many options available. Not really low-cost but then none of the bubble tea places are. But Formosan is affordable. There are two seating spaces which are quite good. The service is a little too slow.
Small, hidden spot tucked down a lane. Friendly service although can be on slow side, good boba. Wide selection of kombucha, some on tap, is highlight for me with personal favourite "Baked Kombucha." Highly recommend if in Oxford. They also offer delivery.
