I came here after going to the same place since 2016. Didn't have high expectations but it was a really good experience. Didn't have to wait and was done with a pedicure and full set of bio gel nails in less than 2 hours. She didn't rush took her time and it turned out really neat and even. Last time at the other place every single nail was lopsided so it was refreshing to have really nice nails done. I also didn't get injured which is a huge plus!!
I came to the store only few time. but last time was very impressed. Helen was the one did my nail. she was so careful and detail. My hand total changed after her work. ... Thanks Helen and I will come back. Thanks!
This was my first time getting nails done and it was an excellent experience! I showed them a photo of what I wanted and it came out amazing. They are so precise to ensure that it is perfect. Everyone there is so sweet. Highly recommended!ServicesNail extensions
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never in my life gone out of a nail salon in tears because of a disrespectful nail technician I don't know her name, but she's the really tall one. During the pedicure and shellac manicure, she was extremally passive-aggressive towards me when I told her I wanted to change my nail colour choice to a french-style manicure By the way, she didn't even start painting my nails at this point. In annoyance, she walked away from me and gave me resentful answers to my questions/suggestions. To put it simply, I felt very uncomfortable, awkward, self-conscious, and confused for the remainder of the appointment. When she started to do my nails, she had the audacity to laugh at my nails multiple times during our session, which was very embarrassing. I was stunned at the repeated disrespect and petty insults since I work in the service industry. I am very easygoing and open to listening to my nail technicians' opinions. Still, I did want and asked for two coats of the light pink colour since I noticed some discoloration seen on image 2. The first time I asked her to do two coats of the pink shellac, she didn't respond. I was unsure if she did not hear me, so I politely asked again, to which she aggressively dismissed me. At one point, I had to ignore her irritated and miffed comments because it was toxic. Usually after a pedicure, nail technicians help customers put on their flip-flops/shoes or massage their hands; I received no such help to which she abruptly said, "Ok, leave now." I was left feeling belittled and attacked with a mediocre shellac job. My pedicure was smudged and bumpy because the proper precautions were not taken. My nail lengths are different heights. After I had expressed to the management that I felt humiliated and singled out, they did nothing to rectify or solve the situation. So therefore, I would say their customer service is insufficient. Once the nail technician realized that her MANY comments were hurtful and insensitive, she offered to make adjustments to my nails. However, it was too late, and I was more upset over the OVERALL EXPERIENCE than my okay-looking nails. I left the salon visibly unhappy/upset and in tears over a horrible salon day. All in all, I will not be returning. For context, this is my very first google review, and as someone who goes to many Vaughan salons, I feel a need to express my poor encounter. Usually, I tip my nail technicians 10-15$ extra, so I am still perplexed over the random hostility Needless to say, for the first in my life, I did NOT tip. I felt ashamed, small, and that my needs as a customer did not matter. It's a shame because my mother had a lovely nail technician. Unfortunately, I got extremely unlucky, and therefore the BOTH of us will not be coming back.
Worst nail center I've ever been to. I had gel nails done and it broke on the second day. I went to remove it. They pulled it out by force, without softening it. I never recommend
Have been going to Nails Forever for over 10 years and I always get wonderful manicures gel refills and pedicures. Annie is the best. Such a perfectionist and does wonderful work on my nails. Most of the reviews that you may come across with 5 stars are from 5 or 4 years ago, but a more recent perspective on how they treat their customers is bad. Me and my mother had went to each get a manicure and a pedicure. As I was picking a colour, the lady my mother booked for me kept forcing me to get a shellac, not knowing that this nail technician had the intention of rushing me to be able to have my nails done before her next appointment. I had wanted acrylic nails, but she never gave me the opportunity to get them, since she wanted me to get shellac so that it will take less time, and she can therefore finish in time. I could tell by the way she was doing my nails that she was rushing. She also wasn’t gentle and would harshly grab my fingers. My mother had got her pedicure done by a different nail technician that was nicer, however she could have done a better job as my mom was unsatisfied with how she made her toe nails uneven. Due to my nail technician rushing me, I didn’t even get my pedicure done which I had also booked for. This implies how this nail salon has very poor customer service and how this place doesn’t care about the satisfaction of all their customers. Just because you have another appointment after, doesn’t mean that you get to rush the one before and leave the customer unhappy. It hasn’t even been a month and my nails are already lifting. I definitely would NOT recommend this place!
They only take appointments at the moment. They are familiar with regular customers. The smell of the nail s can be nauseating if your not use to it. Nice staff and quick to help
I always have an amazing experience. The staff is very kind and friendly! It's very affordable, and you get what you pay for. Technician spent the entire time on her phone, and brusquely gestured each time when it was time to cure the gel. I can ignore this kind of service if the quality is amazing, but it was the worst shellac I've ever seen. It bulges at both ends, especially the end of the nail, and there were a few dents throughout. It chipped within a few days.
