In the lead up to buying my car I found it very hard to get in touch with anyone at FOW, I emailed without response, rang several times without an answer, although I did receive a call back on one occasion. When I went to pick up my car I was told it had been cleaned, which wasn’t done properly as the drinks holder was filthy, and there were smudges all over the outside where the wax hadn’t been cleaned off properly. I was told they had put some fuel into the car for me which was a lie because when I got in to drive away there was 6 miles range left in the car, when I test drove it a week earlier there was a twelve mile range so clearly no fuel had been put in. Having had the car less than a week I’m already having to take it to a garage to get the tyres balanced, however the after sales team were very helpful with this matter. Overall not the experience you expect when buying a car from a dealership.
First experience of Fords and the choice is really good, not too keen on the fact that the cars aren't priced and you have to scan a code..but hey its a brave new world. What I didn't like where the utterly ignorant girls dealing with the keys, the young lad sorted us out with a smile on his face but the ladies just completely ignored you even though there was a queue, a simple "sorry I'll be with you in a moment " would have sufficed but no not a thing, and yes I did make my presence known to the extent that someone from the back office looked up. Business taken elsewhere.
This will be my fifth car from this dealership and each time the sales have been conducted very efficiently. The cars have also been good value for money. There was a Ford but the last four have been from France.
Been several times. If anything too big a choice. Go with an afternoon to spare and budget in mind, you'll still spend more. No salesmen chasing you round. Got a reasonable and unexpected px price too. They'll advise add ons gap ins, paint protection, extended warranty. PS You get 30 days warranty. We had MIL come on after a week. All sorted no problem through a local garage.
Cracking place every car you can think of. Picked ours up after respray new clutch and lots of work. Looked brand new. Happy feel about help full staff from canteen to car sales
A great selection of cars and easy process for test drives and organising pickup. Before I start my review I would like to note they don't get 5 stars as the quality of the car clean after pickup was poor. Despite organising pickup a few days after they said it would be ready they didn't pre clean the cars exterior, I suspect the didn't do the arranged smoke clean and the interior clean was shakey at best if you look beyond the shiny dashboard. It is super easy to park up and to find your way. Half the cars are unlocked for a full view and the others you have to give your details at the office and you can take 2 keys at a time. You're allowed to start the vehicles too. You are designated a person to accompany you on a test drive around the corner. Roughly a 2 mile drive with all the turns, bumps and straights that you would want to try. Organising your purchase takes roughly 40 minutes and a lot of that is the "necessary " extras explanation. In summary, good service and experience but specify anything you've seen dirty in the car.
My husband and I have just bought a used car from Fords of Winsford and found the whole operation surprisingly smooth and stress free. The reception staff were friendly and explained the set up. After we had decided upon a couple of cars to test drive Jurgen accompanied us and was really informative and helpful. Jodie Cornes guided us through the sales procedure and again proved competent and knowledgable. She made sure we were quite satisfied with all aspects of the new car. Both of them inspired confidence in your business and we would definitely recommend Fords of Winsford.
Spent 2 days hammering out a deal to buy a car with part-ex and home delivery, called to make final payment only to be told they don’t accept part-ex against a motor thats delivered! Then agreed a cash sale, car went for MOT, arranging delivery then radio silence. I had the car reserved but they’ve clearly sold it to someone else Communication is poor, unprofessional start to finish.
My husband bought a car from here. Had it 4 moths and and been numerous things wrong with it, leaving us without a car on several occasions and out of pocket. These cars should be checked before selling. The car has had problems with 2 tyres, the window has had to have new parts and the had problems where the car would not start at all after 1 week of having it. Would not buy another car from here.
We drove 50 miles to the showroom aftwr we finished work we arrived at about 610pm we had a walk around then at 640 went into the main building, stood at the information desk, 4 people all sat there avoiding eye contact before one lady whom had the customer service attitude of little Britain's "computer said no" character. I tried to explain what cars we were interested in before she cut me off mid sentence, "what's the reg" they gave us the keys to one car, said another was sold and then said another was round the back. We went to look at the one car we got the keys for, 10 minutes later we went back to look at the one round the back and one other, the same lady said no more keys were closing. I explained it said 8pm online and it's 650pm, "we close earlier when it starts to go dark" no sorry, no explanation as to why the interet said otherwise. Complete and utter disinterest in customer service, its a shame as they do have a large selection of vehicles, ultimatly though I would avoid like the plage, if this is their attitude before you spend any money it doesn't leave a lot of faith fifa anything went wrong with the vehicle. We went with the intention of buying a car tonight, looks like we will be looking elsewhere after that 100mile wasted journey.
