Been coming to FP for around 25 years. Never had a bad experience here. One of my favourite shopping spots when in town. Warm and welcoming staff. Great prices and selection on goods. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
By far my favourite shop in Leicester. Staff are incredibly nice, shop layout is wicked. I've been in Birmingham, London and Nottingham Forbidden Planets this one is better in my opinion. Me partner and little boy both love it here too. Great shop in general.
Very cool shop with friendly staff and plenty of variety. There's manga, toys, collectibles, comics... Occasionally events are held here too and while the venue isn't big it's great to see local creators getting the spotlight. The only real downside is the price of certain items compared to their online equivalents but at least here you can be sure they're genuine.
Small shop, but packs a punch way above its weight! The stock here is better than some of the so called megastores. They have a wonderful selection of manga, and regularly go there to stock up. Love this place. Also my son's favourite shop in the city, by far.
Great service. Took my reservation details a few months ago. The product arrived this week and I was sent an email to collect. Lee and Anna were excellent from start to finish. They even reserved me another copy after I cancelled my order with the FB head office. Team were polite and friendly. 5 stars
They have an amazing manga selection and are very nice! They also have different plushes, collectibles such as sonny angels and smiski figures. They’ve recently added snacks from Asia, I would absolutely recommend coming here!
I'm not a big anime fan - by all means, most people in the store had definitely watched more than me and/or read manga which I haven't, but the atmosphere and goods sold here are actually really nice. There are figurines from shows I've never watched but recognise, as well as manga that I'm not familiar with, but overall their selection is amazing, and the people who shopped here seemed to really enjoy it. If you're a fan of anime or manga, I really think that this store will have something to make you smile and say "Oh wow", and even if I don't get all of the references or understand all of the characters, I can say that the people who were here seemed very happy. That's a good thing.
Great service, made my step son feel right at home and able to emerse himself in his jo jo addiction.
Came here with my friends and then my boyfriend. The staff members are kind and helpful, but I think the store lacks a bit of anime action figures variety. I’m sure that it can’t be blamed on the store, it’s hard to get hands on Japanese releases! Other than that, if you’re a manga reader, definitely come take a look!
