One word! AMAZING! first time at Foodie and the service was first class and really friendly. The food was out of this world. You can taste the original home cooking of Poland. I will be back for sure! Come on Scotland put down your kebabs and get some real tasty healthy food from Foodie. The taste of Poland…. Love it love love it. Bravo to the chef.
I'm sure this is a place already known by the Polish locals, however for those that haven't tried it I would highly recommend! For what looks like a simple cafe from the outside, inside it is well decorated and the dishes they produce are top quality. Many soups to choose from and some hearty mains. We had the dumplingsperogi, chicken soup, chicken and pork schnitzel and the pork shank. All was like lovely home cooked and really delicious. The potatoes are honestly some of the best I've ever had. The place was busy and we still had a good service and all of the food was served hot and well seasoned, our server was also lovely and answered any questions we had about the dishes, Will definitely be comming back!! Would recommend for a Hearty Sunday dinner ; They also feature a chef special posted on a board and a daily meal special so keep an eye out for that and ask the waiter

For years I have been on a quest for potato & cheese pierogi which is a very common food in Canada where I’m from. So far I have tried them at 3 polish restaurant’s in Glasgow, and Foodie Bistro definitely makes the best! Lots of caramelised onion, even my husband prefers these to the meat ones. They taste just like someone’s baba made them : We have tried other things on the menu as well and everything is delicious.
Bad music good food, more vegan dishes please. Do not hesitate to aak for off menu dishes. They will make it on a special request.Food: 5/5
