My dog was taken here by a neighbour after escaping from my garden she was there for all of about 30 minutes. Got her back home and she needed treating for fleas, a week later and now she has developed kennel cough, I have an elderly dog at the same address who has also started with it. I never saw the conditions of the inside as she was brought out to me but by the looks it’s not fit for purpose. I would definitely not pay to have my dog boarded here. Never left a bad review before but this is an absolute joke.
We had lost our dog, and a description was put up of a dog which was brought here, and which was highly likely our lost dog. Noone picked up the phone over a day as we rang the two phone lines tons of times, so we had to chance it and go here to find out for ourselves. We got there and someone was on the phone for ages, which was weird because noone picked up the phone when we tried to reach them tons of times. Our dog seemed to not have been looked after overnight as she was starving and thirsty when we picked her up in the morning. After a few days on top of that our dog ended up getting kennel cough.
This kennels put a post on Facebook asking for donations. I took some tins of dog food there today. The female working there came up to the gate while still talking on the phone. I didn’t get any response, no acknowledgement, thank you, nothing. How rude and ungrateful. I was going to regularly take food there, now I won’t bother. Horrible! Shame for the dogs.
Our dog escaped our garden and was taken here by a member of the public, we found out on social media she was heading here and called to leave messages we were on our way for her, as the kennel said it was after hrs we weren't allowed to take her home and had to return at 8.30 am. We had arrived within 20 minutes of her been taken in and had evidence she belonged to us. The following morning we arrived to collect our dog to hear her howling and crying recorded this we paid the £74.00 bill and took her home, she's been bathed and still smells as the pictures show we found poo on her collar. It's a disgrace any council should be attached to such a place.

Don't return your dogs. Few years ago I had a "specialist dog", so the kennel said. After a conversation with a lady on the phone I asked for the postcode to which she replied find it out yourself before putting the phone down. After arriving at the kennel and clearly hearing my own dogs bark. They then told me they had sent him to Birmingham with a specialist handler this is a puppy i never saw him again. Second occasion my mum's French bulldog escaped the garden and was picked up by LCC. After a picture of my mums dog was posted by LCC we contacted the kennel who then told us it isn't her dog, without allowing us to prove it is or without offering any explanation. Funny thing is, they didn't thin Keverne was spade but she is lol
Lovely staff and safe clean kennals felt really re assured leaving my dog there would definnatley recommend. X
Dog chip was not registered by flushdyke so they were unable to contact us. They also took off the dog tag and said he didn't have one despite the person who found him saying it had no number on. Totally disgusted by the place. Complaint not addressed other than saying staff member will be spoken to. Still not had email stating chip registered and had to pay another night fees. Not happy at all. Xx
My 2 dogs stayed for 4 nights. Came back happy and well looked after. Reasonable prices. Nice staff
