Food was just okay. Meat cooked incorrectly, asked for medium rare and got medium. The meat quality tasted a little on the old side, marbling was none existing for my tomahawk. Mash potatoes were a little dry. Cream of spinach was watery, but the sauté mushrooms were delicious. Dessert was pretty good. We had the lava cake. Service was nice, provided suggestions which we took, and filled our drinks constantly. Why 3 stars??? The price. It had the food quality like Outback, with a Michelin star price. If it's atmosphere you're after, then this is a lovely spot, but really you're after the food in the end and the price doesn't justify it.
Came in for my birthday the table was decorated with a cute birthday card. The staff is amazing and sweet. Our server was great and was there to check in on us. The food was made to perfection from the seafood tower too the dessert everything was perfect
My wife and I had a great night out. The food was outstanding. Steaks were done perfectly. The sides were very tasty and the Ahi tuna poke appetizer was great. Add some good drinks, a creamy creme brulee, a great server ask for Kim and you have the makings of a nice night out. Vegetarian options: The cauliflower steak looked interesting but steak is the reason to come here. Kid-friendliness: They offer some menu items for kids under 12. Parking: Plenty of parking around the restaurant.
Great restaurant for a special occasion. This is a family favorite for both entrees and desserts. The steaks are excellent, the filet as prepared med rare is like waygu beef. The fruit with chantilly crème is a kid favorite. They do offer 3 course kids meals. There is a good selection of wine and mixed drinks.Recommended dishesChocolate Lava Cake, Lobster Bisque, Chipotle Cheddar Mac & Cheese
We went to this resto to use our gift cards. Not really a fan of flashy restaurants. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. No reservations so we went to the bar. Staff are nice and helpful. The Ceasar's salad has good crispy bacon and thin slices of cheese. Gives great accent to the fresh veggies. The seabass has good texture and fine taste with a hint of orange. I don't like fish but the sweet aftertaste of seabass made me reconsider. The chix breasts has good smoky flavor, not salty and so soft and moist that I forgot this is a steak house. For a cheapskate like me, I would say this place is over-rated and over priced but with the gift cards, I don't mind the price at all : My dinner experience was good at this place. Definitely will come again when I have gift cards hint hint...
5 this is a fantastic place to eat a good steak . You will be met a professional staff that knows how to treat customers. How to present vine and present the food. Price compared to the food and service and area is Highly recommend
Thank you Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Palo Alto for one of the most enjoyable dinners ever. We had dinner on Thursday 10/27/22. This is our new “happy place” to be. From the ambiance that shinned through the door to the genuine employees that graced us throughout our entire visit to the food that was cooked to perfection and left us planning our next visit. The hostess seated us promptly upon our arrival and our waitress, Michelle, was instantly at our table with suggestions for wine and food, as the hostess returned to her station. Our busboy Octavio was at our table seconds later with fresh hot bread, served with Pumpkin Butter and Champagne Cheese. The expertise, precision and authenticity that the staff exhibited left us feeing pampered and excited for our dinner. Marissa the manager was the ribbon that tied the package up. She is so genuine and thoughtful, that we felt like we were at my mother-in-law’s during Christmas and believe me, not many people could top that. The food was beyond belief. The Wedge was excellent, it had a nice twist with a balsamic reduction topping the salad. The Tomahawk was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly the way we requested. The Creamed Spinach was delicious. To top this wonderful dinner off, we had Carrot Cake with caramel drizzled over the top, and an outstanding Crème de Brulee ever, served with Crème de Chantilly. We Will Be Back
Hadn't been to flemings in years but my parents gave me a gift card so I came here with the wifi for "dinner for twosday" which is a 3 course set menu. Bread was great with the onion butter. The salad was just ok. Nothing amazing about the Caesar. Maybe try one of the other salads. The tomahawk. WOW! it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great marbling and flavor. Sides were good. Loved the creamed spinach. The flemings potatoes were slightly underdone. The desserts were standard fare. I liked the chocolate butter cake better than the cheesecake. But the butter cake is basically a fudgy brownie. Overall had a good experience. You come here for the meat. You definitely won't be disappointed.
Excellent bone in ribeye medium and french fries tho not on menu. Very attentive and timely service. Steak is basted in butter and nicely charred. French fries are double cut and crispon outside and soft on inside.
This was some of the best food I've had in a long time. The staff went above and beyond to take care of our party. I highly recommend this establishment. 10/10
