Wonderful We had dinner here last night and managed to find a cozy table for two in the corner. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The menu offered a tempting selection of à la carte options as well as special dishes. We decided to try the egg tagliatelle with beef ragu, pizza with mortadella and pistachios for our main course, and started with a delightful burrata. Since opening in 2011, Chef Ciro has been doing an amazing job. Every dish we tried was superb, and we will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Another great feature of this restaurant is the live music: an opera singer performs on Fridays and there’s jazz music on Sundays. This adds a wonderful touch to an already fantastic dining experience. Eddy
Great place for a date night if you’re into Opera. On a Friday night, totally unexpected I didn’t read the reviews beforehand, we found ourselves indulging in live Opera. For such a small space, the acoustic was fabulous. We felt like we were propelled into an opera concert that came with a meal! Food wise, it was well executed. It’s simple Italian and true enough on its own, the price would have been a bit steep. But with the live Opera, this totally transformed out dining experience, hence justifying the cost. You gotta love Opera to love this! We had a great time!
This is a very nice restaurant, so easy to walk past, but well worth a visit. It's not cheap, but it is reasonably priced for the service and quality of food you receive.Food: 5/5
We had a most wonderful dinner here. The food is all very fresh and made daily and it tasted so. They have opera and jazz on at times although not tonite. Will definitely come many times again. Everything was great! Vegetarian options: Great canollini.
Pizza was amazing, better than i had experienced in Naples. Service was great, very nice waiter. A little pricey. On top of that there was an incredible opera singer that surprised us half way through dinner. 10/10 would come again and would recommend anyone else toFood: 5/5
I went on a Saturday evening and whilst I did make a reservation, I was accommodated and served immediately when I came as soon as they opened at 5 pm even if this was half an hour earlier than my reserved time. Quite a hidden gem, tucked away from the crowded parts of Borough High Street. Highly recommend the pasta of the day — generous portion and freshly prepared. I also ordered the special pizza for takeaway because it wouldn’t be a complete Neapolitan experience without pizza . Great customer service and will definitely be back when I’m in the Borough area.
This was a completely unplanned visit yet it was delightful. Amazing food, nice service, good ambiance and impressive singer. Fish stew, beef rigatoni and their house red are divine! This will probably become my favourite family run Italian restaurant in London. Many have shut down during Covid so I am pleased they have survived. I was also impressed with how they have dealt with a distressed drunk man who randomly walked into their restaurant needing help while we were there. They have managed to resolve the conflict super professionally and with upmost humanity and generosity for the guy. I bow my head. This place is a little gem!
Been going to this restaurant with family for years it’s brilliant proper Italian food. Everything is so fresh and you can find everything you could want from an authentic Italian restaurant. The core menu is delicious and the specials are fantastic! I recommend this place to everyone. It’s a real gem of London!Food: 5/5
Probably one of the best places I've visited in London. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious especially the salami gourmet pizza and the staff is so friendly and attentive. They also have opera nights which took us by surprise, but the man singing has a beautiful voice and makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. 1000000/10
This place is a little gem. Authentic Italian food. Freshly made. The service is fantastic - the real star of the show. So lucky to have these guys here. It’s small inside so worth booking!.Food: 5/5
