Stopped by Flat Iron Square in Southwark a couple times during a recent visit to London. This is a large open bar and a few seating sections, loads of tellies showing football matches, a few billiards tables and several food stations. They serve a nice range of draught beers, we also tried the Venison burgers from the Gamekeeper food station, these were really good. They have staff tending tables if you don't want to order at the bar, environs are great for meeting up friends after work or before matches they will show on the day. Fun place to visit in Southwark.
One of the best venues in London to watch the Euros. The atmosphere is lively, and it’s a great place to catch all the games. The food selection is diverse and getting a beer is always quick and easy. The toilets are clean, which is a big plus. Highly recommend this spot for any football fan. Do note that you need to book and get tickets beforehand as they sell out quickly.
I think it has lots of potential. Very cute. But the place was dead, not many people around. A few options for food: Greek, fried chicken, burgers and tacos. My main issue was that it was full of mice, me and my friends must have seen over 50 mice within a couple of hours. They were crawling up the walls…
Great place to eat and drink with friends and watch the European Championships. Expect London prices obviously! Toilets are dingy compared to what I would expect given that the venue has a lot of class but that’s not awful. Food stalls outside are varied and serve delicious stuff! Came here for Germany vs Scotland and the atmosphere was great.
Food was good. Got myself a nice Greek Pita with chicken and chips. Beer, football and a million TV's, Projectors and LED screens. If you are a football fan you'll definitely like it.Food: 5/5
Really enjoyed my solo dinner at Flat Iron Borough! Great meat and sides!Small menu but very tasty!Creamed spinach simply delicious! Quick service and friendly staff! Free and ! Highly recommended!
The set up for sport is excellent here. Good street food shacks and a great sized bar. The screens are some of the best in London. One of the places to be for the Euros. Just don’t order the Juliper lager.Atmosphere: 4/5
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Flat Iron, a fantastic venue where I watched the Euros and enjoyed some incredible street food. This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in London! Flat Iron offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere that's perfect for watching sports events. The excitement of the Euros was palpable, and the large screens provided a great view from any spot in the venue. What truly sets Flat Iron apart is the exceptional street food. The variety is impressive, but the standout for me was the Greek stand. I had the lamb gyros, and let me tell you, it was the best I've ever had in London. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, wrapped in a warm, fluffy pita with fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The service at Flat Iron deserves a special mention. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They ensured that everyone was comfortable and had what they needed, even during the busy game times. Their friendly and efficient service added to the overall positive experience. Flat Iron is a must-visit venue for anyone looking to enjoy great street food and watch sports in a lively, welcoming environment. The outstanding service and amazing lamb gyros from the Greek stand make it a standout spot in London. I can't wait to return!
A nice spot for a beer and some street food. We came to watch a Rugby World Cup game and were disappointed though as we'd booked 'the garden' which has 2 massive screens as well as six smaller tables with their own screen, yet were put under the railroad archway with the worst seat to watch the game in the house. This was despite making it clear twice we'd be there for the game. Definitely don't recommend coming here for the rugby, they don't put the commentary on music playing instead and no one else there appeared to be watching the game so no vibe at all for it.
Burger is a little bit pricey for what it is. Good vibes and atmosphere. Booze seemed priced accordingly for London. Plenty of people but table booking is required. Generally speaking a good location to meet people.
