Most unprofessional staff I have come across. Escorting random people out of the vicinity with no reasoning and then proceeding to refuse a reason as to why. No communication between staff members and speaking unprofessionally and using physical force against complying students. Will never be returning. Would give -1 stars if I could. Strongly recommend you looking into your informal staff members as what I experienced was disgraceful
On wednesday night going into 3rd of October, I as an international student, was having a great time with my friends. I then went to the bar in the outside area to get some drinks, and to my surprise a member of your security staff suddenly came behind me and used physical force to restrain me and proceeded to push me out of the vecinity to which i of course questioned why is this happening to which his response was to restrain me further despite me not using any force back and complying and walking out with them. Once outside i tried to communicate with the staff and they refused to speak to me or a person there helping with language translation. Refusing to provide an explanation the bouncer left. This was an extremely unproffesional experience, and I will definitely not be returning. A waste of money, disgraceful communication and an abusive staff.

Great place special 80s music night on Monday. After midnight it was fancy dress as Stranger Things 4. I went as Hopper. It's great sitting outside talking to loads of young people I was with my wife, Son and Daughter. I'm 61 and born in 61, but that didn't bother anyone, I still had to show my ID lol . Door staff were great stopping trouble before it came in.. Arrived at 11:30 and park on the street outside. Great crowd mainly locals as students have gone home .8 A special mention to Eagle eyeyed KARL who spotted me in the photos . Just to let you know that this is a great place. Just waiting for the summer 2023. It has arrived . Parking: Parking meters next to Portsmouth Guildhall. DW
