Simply incredible. Staff welcome you when you enter, such a warm and casual place. All the staff have a laugh with each other and include you in the conversations. Personally I get my hair styled by Blake and it’s a great experience. He chats with you first to understand what you’re going for and can really adapt to any changes you want to make. I have booked a haircut service with Blake on Thursday.  I have arrived a few minutes before, but the lady at the desk made me feel comfortable and offered me a drink - perfect for when the weather is so hot outside.  Then I have been escorted to the seat where Blake did his magic.  I am post hair-transplant operation, and Blake and the team at Flappers and gentlemen made me feel comfortable and accommodating.  I strongly recommend this salon - great, talented team - they will always make you feel at home - no matter what!  Thanks Flappers!

Best Hairdressers in Leicester!! Been here several times now. Had my hair done a by Caitilin and Brooke and they've always done a great job. All the staff are lovely and welcoming. The whole vibe of the place has this classic but calm feel to it. Offered refreshments which is a nice touch. Also, there is a dog and they are adorable!

I have booked gents cut with Caitlin, and I am happy to say that she was very professional and I really like how she did my hair. The rest of the team is very nice and welcoming as well. Amazing interior design, good staff and reasonable prices.

Great haircut, beautiful salon, lovely staff. Highlight is their friendly dog. The music can get loud at times so it's definitely not for anyone with sensory issues or looking for a calming experience.

Trans friendly. I'm a trans guy, 3 months on T. Brooke was brilliant. Explained I needed my wispy peach fuzz leaving and she navigated around it. Super fresh cut and clean.

I usually find hairdressers really stressful and uncomfortable but since going to F&G I’ve started to love getting my hair done. The salon is such a nice atmosphere and all the stylists are very relaxed and welcoming. Jesse is amazing and I struggle with small talk when getting my hair done, but he doesn’t push me to chat which is lovely. He always does an amazing job, and I particularly love that if I go in with an idea, he will suggest slight changes so it suits me better!
