My insurance company attempted to get Fix Auto to repair my car after an accident. Head office called to tell me that it would be going to Sutton in Ashfield and to expect a call to arrange collection. I did indeed receive a call but instead of the expected assistance the lady told me that as my car is undrivable due to a faulty indicator post-accident they can't accept it and 'somebody will be in touch'. Eight days later and no contact. It's virtually impossible to get through to Head Office - I spent an hour and a half on hold to be told that they haven't done anything because they are too busy. I haven't tried since.Service: Body & Trim
From start to finish this company was first class. From the first conversation with the receptionist to picking my car up after being fixed. Would highly recommend and I'm a very picky person so for me to give 5 star's is surprising myself
Everything went okay and the work was completed really quickly, found a chip on my car when checking over the car then all went down hill, moaned at for telling my insurance and further more was made to feel very uncomfortable when taking the vehicle back 5 times I had to go back to finally get the car sorted a bloke called Paul is very nice but other than that it wasn’t great and to be told after that if your boss wants to see customer service then tell to call me and I will show him what customer service is. Not great when you raise a complaint and being made to feel indimidated isn’t good. All we wanted was for the car to match on either side it felt like we being threatened towards the end, and even when I got calls from them it was not great short sharp and not great service. If you’re vehicle is done correctly the first time them you will receive class A* service but if there is a problem and you raise this with your insurance then it’s like you are a being a problem and are made to feel very uncomfortable by most of the staff. It felt like they all had some vendetta against me/my company when the vehicle went back in.Services: Painting
Very professional, and despite delays caused by delivery of faulty parts I was kept up to date at all times. I am delighted with the repair
Edit: This issue was eventually sorted to a good standard after I was contacted by the owner, who was very apologetic and polite. Fine up to the point where something goes wrong. I was told that work is only guaranteed if you take your car in for a yearly inspection, I was then rudely and dismissively told that I should have read the T&Cs. For some odd reason this was only told to me once I’d driven down to the premises and the car was inspected, not during any of the multiple phone calls with myself or the insurance company. No accountability taken for the poor work, just excuses. The reply to this review shows how much responsibility the company will take once you’re out of the door. Furthermore, in response to the reply, I was not asked for a “certificate or the bill”, I was just told with a shrug that the guarantee wasn’t valid because I hadn’t returned the car every year for an inspection.Service: Body & Trim
Poor quality service, lacquer is peeling from the paint job they did 8 months ago, and I had a number of problems like bumper clips broken after they had completed the quality check.
Just picked my car up, fantastic job, great service for the team. Highly recommended.
This was the first time that I have visited a body shop in decades and I received impeccable service.
Fast, efficient service fixing my car the first time and just as quick righting car off neither accident was my fault lol
