Great shop very friendly and helpful staff.I was buying a present for my husband, some Polaroid Glasses prices ranged from £25 to £250 and didn't have a glue which were the best. The staff really helped and I didn't feel ripped of. Would recommend a visit for any fishing person

After using this shop for a number of years it been a few years since I've been due to covid. I use to love wondering round and buying the little gems you struggled to get. Unfortunately this is now a normal big outlet the same as others. No need for my yearly pilgrimage now as I can get what they sell elsewhere. Its a shame its no longer what it useto be.

I purchased online a number of the same item as described in text and photos. I received only half the order and in the wrong colour. I raised the matter with the seller who replied that "photos are for illustration purposes only" and "the price was correct" for the quantity I received. Basically their attitude is they can ignore the pictures and description of the goods they are advertising. They mock consumer protection regulations by making it up as they go along. Fishing Tackle and Bait are the worst of online retailers as they are dishonest traders who practise deceit. You cannot trust them. Fishing Tackle and Bait after-sales customer service has the worst attitude possible and offend against common decency. They have zero respect for the transaction or you as a customer. If you don't accept their excuses by attempting to hold them to their contract of sale then their response is to cancel the sale and request you return the items at your expense for a refund. A retailer does not have the right under consumer protection law to dodge the contract of sale. Indeed UK Trading Standards consider false advertising by price and description to be a serious matter, supermarkets for example are fined £1,000 per item when this malpractice is discovered on their shelves. Fishing Tackle and Bait have no care or consideration for the accuracy of their online offering or for an equitable settlement in appeasement of the burnt customer. The customer is not special. The customer is a problem to be closed with the least consideration imaginable. You can read many similar experiences in the bad reviews. To Fishing Tackle and Bait I say it is not good enough, you are not as good as you claim to be on your website. Your customer service is second rate. Your practises are illegal.
Well stocked shop for everything you would need for fishing. Very friendly staff with great knowledge of the local fishing scene. Highly recommended 100% service
Excellent shop with an amazing selection of lures. I’ve never seen anything quite like it anywhere else. Always worth a call in when passing or in the area.
