Large box of meat is 1/3 full and tasted awful. Chips were cold. Rung 3 times. Hung up on 3 times. Rude
Ordered 2x cheese burgers, one 1/4lb one gourmet. Side of reg chips. Onion rings. Less than a score. Arrived quickly, friendly delivery. Food was hot. Tasty. Fresh salad. Prices typical of the type of food sold, but generally cheaper than a few other places I looked at. Have ordered before, will order again. Reasonable delivery fee. 4/5
Ordered skate & chips for my dad and a portion of coddies. The skate was well overcooked, and the coddies were dry and horrible. Phoned the shop, and they did replace the order, but the skate was still not great. I told the young driver to take the coddies back to the shop and that I wanted a refund for them. I've still not had my refund 2 weeks on. We were really disappointed with the food, such a shame as my dad actually loved their fish, but will think twice about ordering again.
The food is delicious. Only a couple times it has been cold arriving but other than that the portions are well sized. If you eat from here you will be left satisfied and full.Food: 4/5
Fish and chips Sunday 20th Febfor 5 people. Chips were awful and everyone left them. Rock salmon was nice. If I wanted Potato wedges I would have ordered them, try checking Your cutting machine.
Outstanding fish and chips. Went there today as I was passing on the way to the coast. Ordered 7 meals. 2 x rock eel and chips, 3 x savaloy large and chips, 2 x chicken nugget and chip's. The portions were large and the food was cooked fresh and to be honest it was probably the best fish and chip experience I've had in year's and I've driven past this chippy a dozen or so times. The chicken wasn't them processed rubbish that you sometimes get... No, they were large chunks of chicken in batter and plentyful and very tasty on all accounts. And very good value for money I can't remember the exact amount but it was around the £40is mark and for 7 good size delicious meals I ain't complaining. If I could of given an extra star I would of. I will of course be swerving by that direction again and soon I hope
Bought a large cod and a medium cod here. When I got it home and saw the tiny size of it I was disgusted. I will not be going back, I will be going to Reg's fish bar instead, they give a nice big cod. When I pay for a large, I expect to get a LARGE.
Daughter went here to grab her chips on the way home from a busy day .... shouldn't have bothered she left the lot absolute disgusting..looks to have been made hours before amd just left that's our service lost as this isn't the 1st time disgusting
I have a takeaway from here about every two weeks But just lately the large cod that costs £9.20 is looking more like a small cod, I won't be coming back, I'll be going back to Johns fish bar at rosemary road, P.s. you can get small cod with chips for £5.00, Some fish shops just take the p.
Absolutely outstanding tonight. Ordered cod and chips and a few other bits. Everything was piping hot and tasted amazing.
