Taking a city bus is about what you would expect. The busses smell like exhaust, but other than a bit of dirt tracked on the floor from constant the ins and outs of passengers, they're relatively clean. The price is fair, but be sure to bring exact change, or you'll end up paying 10 quid for a 20 minute ride to the center. The people riding the bus with you are usually nice people, although I did have my purse stollen right out of my bag on one ride. I've never felt as though a driver was inexperienced at driving, and have always felt safe on the bus, but my one complaint would be with the drivers. I have never had a good experience with a bus driver. I usually travel on the bus with two toddlers. They come with a stroller and a diaper bag. The amount of times a driver has refused to let me on after waiting in the rain for a bus for 20 minutes because I have a stroller (even after I have offered to fold it up) is too many to count, and they never do it nicely. It's always with this gruff "I don't have the time or energy to deal with you or your children, and I'll be darned if I let you on MY bus!" attitude. I honestly can't think of anything I would rather do LESS than ride a First bus with the current drivers. They make me feel as though they don't want or need my money, and maybe they don't. Which is why I will be avoiding them as much as I can!

Never give the charge they like said no have rest every time like that and if u miss a penny they don't let u came Inside stagecoach much better and give the rest disgusting

Buses smell of dampness. Cant see this improving .take off double deckers.embarrassment for tourists
