I don't see a Dr very often but recently have had some health problems. I have been well looked after and the Dr I have been seeing has been has been kind and understanding and the staff have been helpful and friendly. They will always see you on the same day if you need to see a Dr urgently. It's sometimes harder to book appointments ahead as they go very quickly but if my Dr has asked me to come back and see them they always find me an appointment.

Please read all of my comment. I suffered a bad injury to my knee, and decided to see a GP a couple weeks later. The GP treated me in a very bored and uninterested manner, and made a quick ‘test’ on my knee, and decided that it’s nothing and that I do not need an MRI. Soon after I saw another GP at the same location and had the exact same response. 3 weeks later I decided to get an MRI done privately, and it turns out I had a ruptured ligament in my knee. Thank God I have private insurance, and was able to have an operation to fix this. I understand that the NHS is underfunded and understaffed. But this is completely unacceptable, especially in a small village with so few people. I do not want to name and shame both GP’s but Something must change.

I only have praise for this surgery. I have been a patient for many years and whilst I have fortunately not had to attend very often when I have I always had a good experience. My most recent experiences have been excellent from the caring nature of the receptionists, the gentle approach of the nurse and the doctor who explained everything to me in detail and called me with results of tests. We are all aware of how GP surgeries are struggling with the pressures of various challenges created by budget cuts etc in the current climate and I feel the team at Firs deserves some credit.

Very difficult to get an appointment and difficult to get parking if you do. Doctors don't care either, your made feel like just a number presenting another problem.

Awful doctors surgery! They opened at 8am i would call instantly and be on hold for about 10 -15 minutes then they would run out of appointments! I had a really serious problem and needed support from my doctor which i didn't get! I had ended up going to A&E because i was getting ignored. Doctor manning was the only doctor that helped me and phoned me up when she realized i was distressed.
