Our experience of Fir View Tan Y Ffridd since we bought our caravan, has been nothing but positive. Everyone, from Chris the owner, Judy and Alex in the site office and Billy & Craig have been excellent. Our unit is on the new phase and each time we go, more work has been completed developing the site on schedule and it is starting to look great. We had a small leak from a ceiling vent, which Chris and team sorted for us quickly and successfully. This has quickly become our second home and we are really looking forward to the 2023 season.
Great place to get away from it all Club house,little bowling green, crazy golf, child's swimming pool, forest walks & not to far from Welshpool & other areas of interest & beauty
We had planned a visit to Barmouth, via Welshpool and wanted to pay a visit to the park, as we had viewed its details on the website. We contacted Chris who replied promptly and organised an appointment with Judy for the following day, even though the site was officially closed for Winter as it was only mid January. Upon on arrival we were made most welcome by Judy who then took us into the office and offered us a welcome hot drink and biscuits. Judy then gave us a full list of the caravans available and explained their specifications, locations and the details and amenities of the park. Judy then gave us over 3 hours of her time to view the different caravans that we liked. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience, which was very much appreciated, so much so, that we decided to purchase our favourite van there and then purely due to the fact that we did not feel any pressure to buy. No hard sale tactics. Since then Judy has gone above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible and stress free. We cannot wait until March to officially open up. Thanks Judy, Chris and the Team !!
My overall experience hasn't been a happy one. They seem desperate to get your money and that's the only time they rush, using unreliable contractors without alternatives and getting differing information from staff.
Always nice to pop in and see them at Fir View Tan y Ffridd. All the extra planting is looking fabulous.
I have noticed a few negative reviews but I've never had any trouble with Chris the owner, its been an incredibly positive experience. Obviously if you don't pay the site fees when they fall due then of course they will remove your caravan off site. Beautiful park with lots of facilities for families with children. Staff are warm and friendly.
Lovely site set in beautiful mid wales countryside. There is an outside heated pool and playing field , bowling green, crazy golf and woodland walks , plenty for families to do , yet still remains peaceful and surrounded by nature. The friendly and helpful on site staff and management help to make it the perfect place to own a caravan. Love it
A lovely Country Park with endless walks in the 400 acre forest for the dogs and plenty of facilities onsite. Big fan of the outdoor chess and gigantic connect-4 by the way.
Quiet friendly caravan park. Always kept very clean and tidy, lots to keep you busy bowling green, pool, park, crazy golf football pitch and tennis court. Plenty of forest surrounding this site for you to walk in. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a second home to get away too.
We recently bought a static at fir view and we couldn’t be happier. The buying process was quick and easy without any pressure to buy. There was a problem with our boiler so the manager arranged for a new one to be fitted at no cost to ourselves and without any quibble. The site is lovely, nice staff, good location, well maintained and tidy.
