I am very disappointed to say that I cannot recommend Fine Design Furniture.  I was fully assured by them initially with the promise of excellent service and was prepared to pay the price for bespoke kitchen cupboards.  In the event the job was not completed to our satisfaction and the quality of the cupboards did not come close to reflecting the price we paid for them.  Sub contracted plumbers left us with poor workmanship and leaks and were not pleasant to have in our home.  Despite repeated polite requests for levelling to be checked the granite worktops ended up being fitted onto an uneven surface which has resulted in further complications.  I would not have gone so far as to post this review had Fine Design Furniture been bothered to return telephone calls or have the courtesy to reply to e-mails.

Hugely uncompetitive. We werent after a full kitchen - only 4 units and at over £6000 (without worktops) they were most expensive out of 3 handmade bespoke kitchen companies despite clearly having the lowest overheads as their showroom was in a freezing shed. (DeVol has showrooms in London). Quote was massively unclear and might as well have been written on the back of a fag packet.  A bit opaque when questionned about what wood the cabinets would be made out of. Owner suggested that the other quotes we got were for 'melamine' kitchen units - when clearly they werent.  Gave them every opportunity to come back to the table to requote - but the owner seemed offended that we had subjected him to a process of alternative quotes.
