The venue comprises of a ground floor bar which serves appetizers e.g calamari, chicken wings, chips etc. and sharing platters with prices ranging from £3-20; a large glass of wine would cost you around £8+ cocktails are also available; and a nightclub basement complete with cloakroom, bar, neon lightings etc. The club has sitting booths and tabled seats along its walls and at least 2 secluded cubicles which can presumably be booked for large groups of party goers e.g 6-14 people if you are celebrating something. The club theme is very sombre compared to the bright woody theme of the ground floor bar and has a very nightclub feel. Smart casual or clubwear is advised especially to get in the club and you will have to queue up to get in either floor after 10. Overall both the bar and club are quite small in total space but the prices are relatively good for this area of London. You can get in the bar earlier and hang in there if you don't want to queue up for the club later on. Whether you are planning to go there for a light meet-up with friends, a date or a party be advised it gets very packed on a Saturday night but if you like yourself a good small club in Mayfair at a good price this may be the one for you.
The atmosphere is great. However the music is too loud, we just have to scream to talk with each other. Besides, the service is terrible. Booked for 5 person, one day earlier and surprise that there are NO table provided to us despite opening a bottle cost £180. We ended sitting on the crowded bar. Imagine someone who just drink a Cocktail glass has a table and someone paying £180 ended up on a bar. Sure never to be there anymore. Practically, no one gives a sh.it or cares where you sit AFTER you open the bottle. rip off place.
This place was amazing, Atmosphere was great, Music was good. Would have given this place a 5 Star Rating if it wasn't for the end of the night. If you pay £2 to put your coat/Jacket in a cloakroom, you really do expect it to be there at the end of the night, oh hold on, the woman gave my jacket to someone else without my ticket. How this happens i do not know. Such a shame and waiting for my reimbursement.
Came here for NYE for the 'Fire and Ice' night. Paid £20 entry fee and was very disappointed. First, there was no theme. No NYE, no fire and ice, no decorations anywhere at all... so the pictures on the flyers were misleading to say the least. The place is tiny and overcrowded, despite there being two floors. There were creepy old men everywhere trying to hit on you. Drinks were really overpriced too but obviously we expected that in Mayfair. What really let the whole night down was the music - they played old songs that they play in pubs that have no entry fee at all. Was definitely expecting a lot more for what we paid... disappointing!
So terrible. I’m not one to give businesses bad reviews, but this one deserves it. We went at 7:30 pm and the DJ was BLASTING music in the cocktail lounge area. We saw several people leave clutching their ears not an exaggeration. When we asked management if they could turn down the volume, they said they could not why?, so we left after one drink. My ears are still ringing - and for reference, I’m in my 20s.
Came here for NYE last night and had tickets. Approached the door. Door man was absolutey rude to everyone and anyone. Abrupt in asking for ID, tickets. Once checked for all 5 in the group, starts waving to go in and raising voice saying "Go, Go, Go!" If you don't like your job, and also doing it on NYE, then don't do it. No need to start off everyone's night in the queue with a bad taste. Staff generally were ok. Nothing great. Hospitality was not a strength for this place. The toilet attendant was rude, because I chose not to pay him for giving me a tissue to wipe my hands. I am more than capable of getting one myself. 2 stars because the music was great.
If I could give this club a -10 I would. Absolutely shocking experience. Utterly incompable bar and door staff. It's amazing that your sister can spend a considerable amount of money on a round of 5 drinks, and then when a random person steals one of those drinks... it's wrong for you to confront them and then you get thrown out of this bar for doing so. Embarrassing to call this place a good night out. Staff are beyond incompetent and clearly need to be educated on basic and mandatory manors. Do not waste your money on this shameful so called "bar".
And the award for the world's most rude manager goes to... the young lady wearing all black on August 31st at around 9-10pm. Came here for a quick birthday drink with my partner after a lovely dinner at Sexy Fish. The manager made sure that we don't stay for more than 1 drink. Shocking behaviour from a bar in such a high end area. Clearly nothing but the name has changed since the rebranding of Babble. To add, the speakers sound like they're taken from a 20year old Honda Civic. Terrible experience, avoid.
Friendly staff, good music and great vibes. My friends and I had a pretty good time here last Saturday night. I'd definitely recommend booking a table, they're pretty cheap as far as reservation costs go.
Very poor club. 1- The security with the big body in the middle of the tiny venue, "what the f. you r doing there"? you have to stay in the corner, it is not a place to show your steroid body... 2- Drink is too expensive 2 double shot £26!! pay for entry too... 3- Low people coming with group of 4-6 some, with a disturbing look at my GF like an animal. 4- DJ was the worse DJ in planet , Capital Extra radio is much better than him.
