Fields of Sidmouth is one of the few remaining independent department stores and prides itself on "Service as it used to Be". www.fieldsofsidmouth.co.uk

Story

In September 2011, Fields was shortlisted as one of six finalists as UK Department Store of the Year in the prestigious Draper's Fashion Awards. We lost out to Harrods of London(!) but are very proud to have got so far. We also won Sid Valley Retailer of the Year in 2014.
Our Coffee Shop has won Gold and Silver in the Taste of the West Awards in 2010 and 2011.
In 2015 Goulds of Dorchester purchased Fields of Sidmouth.
We are proud to have chosen Devon Young Carers as our Charity of the Year 2017.

Lovely department store with good value offers. We would not think of going anywhere else for bedding and kitchenware but the store has loads more to offer including clothes, travel goods and shoes.

I have been shopping at Fields since 1976 and might be among their earliest  remaining account holders.  Did all my Christmas shopping there in December (to take to USA).  Thrilled to have won six bottles of Champagne in their Christmas Draw.  Great management, great team, great choice of goods!  Well done everyone at Fields and thank you for a great shopping experience.

Money. Very good selection  clothes and bedding. Recommended for everyone.

Independent department store with an old fashioned feel but plenty on offer. Sells jules and white stuff among many other brands. No longer has children's clothes though which is a shame!
