We took our grandson with us yesterday as he was on holiday from school. We were there quite early and so got served pretty quickly by a very pleasant young man. All our meals were lovely. It is a pity that there wasn't a lunchtime special menu as previously which may account for it not being very busy. We were pleased with our food and service.

I don’t know why I bother coming here. I assume it will be a decent impromptu place to visit with kids for a nice meal. However, the service is absolutely awful. You have to keep badgering staff to make any headway on anything. 40 mins after ordering to get drinks? Really? Meanwhile staff buzz around obviously busy but doing little.

When this establishment re opened we went to try out. It was wonderful. Been a few times and no complaints. Unfortunately we went Saturday 24th March 2018 with some friends x. We ordered and meals came in a reasonable time x. I asked for a medium rare steak x. Trying to cut this was a nightmare and trying to chew it was too. I am not one for complaining so just left it but did tell the waitress about it. My husband food was cold x. After we had all finished we then waited 35 mins for them to clear the table and take our desert order. We complained again about the time. If the place had been busy I could understand it but there was just us 4 and another couple in the place. All I can say please get this establishment up to standard else you will be closing down like a lot more.

Good food at reasonable prices. We went the day after boxing day, and it ended up packed. Serve was a little slower then in the past, but manager did apologise. It had been quiet on boxing day so they scheduled less staff expecting it to be quiet, but then had two large parties (50+ between them) book in on the day, so not really their fault. Was still glad we went.

Very clean. Short on staff. Only one girl behind the bar and obviously struggling. First pint of fosters shandy was made perfectly. The next two were flat, didn't bother to stir and fizz the lemonade before adding the fosters.
