The terms 'large' and 'quaint' often don't fit well in the same sentence, but in this pub they fit together perfectly. Great pub grub rounded off this dining experience, suffice to warrant a "highly recommended" from me
Lovely large public house with outside beer garden. Plenty of car parking space. Food was delicious. My original choice was not available, however the veggie burger was tasty and it came with loads of fries. My friends' cowboy burger was very enjoyable as well. Only one little issue was that the fries were barely warm . We woofed them down all the same as we were hungry lol
Really loved this place, Sam and Kelly are fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. A big thanks also to Angel our waitress, so helpful and polite. Lovely relaxed atomosphere with a great selection of drinks and the food was amazing, hats off to the Chef. I highly recommend Ffynnon Wen, we will definitely be coming back very soon.
Booked a table for 6, arrived 30mins early, but was absolutely no problem. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent, and at a great price. Will definitely be returning. Thanks
Absolutely amazing food! Piping hot! Lovely service! Beautiful setting! Good prices! Quality of food for the price is absolutely outstanding! Tasted like it had cost a lot more! We have been here many times and it's gotten better and better! We love it here and look forward to returning again.
We were a large party who had the Christmas meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The meal was absolutely superb and much better than expected. Everyone was served together, the food was well presented and plentiful. The staff came around with extra roast potatoes, gravy, and sauces. The deserts were especially delicious !!!
This place has always been stunning. We haven't been for awhile so it was a nice change to go. Disabled parking is always very close to the entrance, as well as ramps to make it more accessible. There's a ramp leading to the main dining area, which makes it truly accessible. The menu is very easy to navigate, with plenty to choose from. Service was very fast and the staff are very friendly and polite. All round a great place to go and socialise with family and friends.
Lovely refurbishment nice atmosphere pleasent staff nice buffet
First visit here. Plenty of parking, pleasant surroundings, weather was good and had a drink outside before going in for pre booked table. Nicely set out, ample space. Family friendly and I'm sure would have been able to move tile if requested. A pleasant and enjoyable afternoon. Service was good, beautifully cooked veg, however beef was not good. overcharged initially but quickly rectified. I'd go again as everywhere has an off day. Reasonably priced and plenty of options for food and drink.
Very pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming decor and atmosphere when entering , approached straight away and shown to our table. Imagine our delight when spotting the Snakes & Ladders game etched on top of the table ! Mobiles disappeared - it was Game On with the grandchildren. Our food arrived piping hot and delicious, a very enjoyable lunch & welcoming service at the Ffynnon Wen will certainly be back.
