Brilliant night out. It makes a nice change to hear music from other decades and the younger people really loved it. The DJ played any requests and it had a great party atmosphere. The drinks are cheap too. Will be returning on Friday nights.
A good bar. Great atmosphere. Will visit again when I'm in the area for sure. Next time I'm doing Kaiser Chiefs ha ha. Worth a laugh for sure. I would recommend.
Would have rated 5 if more afro beats was played apart from that great music especially on Friday nights
One of the friendliest bars in town. Decent choice of drinks, moderately priced if slightly on the upper end of what I'm used to paying, but the environment is more than worth the extra premium. Not sure what the deal is with some reviewers saying their drinks were weak/flat - never had an issue with any of mine... As with all places sometimes there can be a few people that can't handle their drinks and are rude towards others, but they're usually removed pretty quick.
The barman Josh showed great enthusiasm and was willing to go the extra mile for me and my family. He proved willing and able when he served us 25 jager bombs in 5 minutes. We would definitely visit again!
The place is ok.. not too many people... not crowded.. no latest music..african, european and american songs available.. good speakers with subwoofer. Bar attendantbwas very polite, friendly and customer centric. Smoke area available..
I was physically harassed by security who pulled my top down. I asked them to stop and they said no, I asked to speak to their manager they said no, I asked for their names I was told they dont give that out. I then asked Mavericks for help and I was also told no. Definitely would not recommend young girls to go there. One of the worst experiences

Inside was good but he bouncers were typical ‘I’m better than everyone else’ attitude and tried to start a fight with any customer. Be careful. If you speak out of turn, apparently that will offend them.
Aggressive security, pulled a friends top down whilst dragging her out the building physically just for not recognising security behind her, yelled that they didn’t need to apologise when knocking people Continued to berate us for being upset
