Excellent fish and chips. The batter on the fish is the best I've tasted - not greasy - and the chips are just right. I have just read a couple of poor reviews posted in the last week and am very surprised at what they say. I regularly go to this shop and have always been very pleased with the quality of the fish and chips.

Just bought portion of chips. Obviously, had been sitting there for some time. Dry and overcooked. It's only 7.40 pm so there is no excuse. Thought this shop had improved but proved wrong.

Ferndown Fish and chips does what it says on the label but loads better than the normal shop. The food choice is amazing and cooked to perfection. Visiting this takeaway is original and so worth it.

Have only used this chippy twice since new owners took over . I thought I would treet myself tonight by getting chips from a real chippy, wish I hadnt bothered now, the time was 5.30 and waited 10 - 15 minutes and thinking they must me fresh, we were wrong as they were re fried and were discusting. we ended up putting them in the bin. Cant we get decent old british fish and chips anymore. Dont bother guys . I will be contacting the management to express my thoughts and will not be using them anymore.

Ordered a small portion of chips from here this evening, I was a bit sceptical since it being taken over by new management recently, but I was pleased to see they have maintained the high standard. Chips were hot, fresh and very tasty. Big portion too for a small chips. Would recommend and come back.
